I got two of these last night from our local Foodworks. I got vanilla and caramel honey hazelnut. The quality of this stuff is a total disappointment. The vanilla is sickly sweet and has a strange airy, icey texture - not all that creamy. Barely even tastes like vanilla. Has no vanilla seeds (I can accept that). Ingredients include skim milk, glucose syrup. I think their quality has really gone downhill the past couple of years.
Even for $5 a tub, you can do better with home brand. I’m no longer buying these, even on sale.
Connoisseur has never been that great, I've never understood the hype.. it's far from premium ice cream. I'd rather Bulla 2L creamy classics for $5 (well.. a bit more now with inflation)..
Connoisseur used to have vanilla beans in it and was a lot better quality icecream.

.but sadly they changed the formula and started to cut corners to increase their profits..same for Sara Lee which was the 2nd best after connoisseur again I am talking a couple of decades ago.I still would prefer connoisseur to alot of the overpriced foreign ice creams but sadly it just isn't as creamy and soft as it once was. I do rate magnums icecream quality but it's so pricey.
