    What makes this good

Assuming they're not lying about them being Gateron switches, I guess the price?

Since just the 77 switches would end up costing like $20-30 on the market themselves.

Although I'd probably assume that the probably older lineage Gaterons likely to be in this are going to have inconsistent or very light factory lube job done on them compared to some of the newer stuff that they're spitting out these days.

I'm not a particular fan of the aesthetic here, but some people could dig it for this pricing.

I don't think you'd be able to mount Cherry profile keycaps on this without shoving paper in the stems or replacing the switches though, as it's north-facing.

I genuinely ask what makes this good and get negged, lol GG ozb.

Like is it the aesthetic? Is it because it's hotswappable? Is it a good brand i'm just not aware of?

Nah easier to neg and answer nothing.

Anyway. Thanks Namidairo for some form of response :)

Edit: Thanks for a good respose! Good point re; switches. Aesthetic of seethrough base seems to be rarer too.

Imagine wasting your only USB-C port for a keyboard.

The included cable is Type-A to Type-C from what I can see.

I mean, you could probably use a C to C cable if you wanted the terrible scenario you just described.

    • No, the keyboard itself has a Type C interface, and the other end's USB-A that goes into your computer

      Clearly shown in product images
