I own 4 of these, bought from Aliexpress for >$20. This seems to be sold by the official MOVE SPEED store on Temu.

It's not the fastest card—write speed is around 40MB/s—but it's 17 bucks. I legally ripped my 4k Akira Bluray with 7.1 Dolby Atmos, put the 80GB file on one, and it played fine. And also 24/192 FLACs. So these fit my use case, and is almost the same as the Sandisk 400GB cards.

My Samsung Evo Pro+ 512GB writes at ~80MB/s but cost 3x of this MOVE SPEED. (both using the OEM card reader on my PC)

Edit: 3 hours left for free shipping. Also free returns within 90 days

Never heard of temu, looks like a wish clone.

Whats their refund policy like? I'll never trust chinese sourced memory until I do a fill test 1st hand…

    • I think Temu is more like Aliexpress with gamification.

Here is the same thing on Ali for $20.65: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005544173874.html?spm=a2…

Never heard of Temu….they have been advertising all over the place its hard to miss them.
Pretty fast postage and reasonable prices but also loys of junk.

      • I think between my PiHole and non-use of popular social media, ive been spared so far.

No ads on TV ive noticed, and none in the mags I subscribe to.

Its once a company switches to bus advertising they get me, being a shameless "show car" fan, I'm always memorizing how a company manages to "itasha" an entire bus.

    • Curious what is a fill test?

fill the card to the max and see if you can read everything.
some fake cards seems to be 256gb for example but its actually 128gb so when you fill up till full, some files will not be readable

      • Firmware on cards can overwrite random data to keep "filling" but then reading it back, its garbage.

A few years back filling a card, then checking the first and last file written was enough to know.

Now firmware is trickier and overwrites random blocks within other files, so you need to actually hash the files and make sure they're all OK when you copy them back.

Pain in the ass; but the only way to know.

        • H2testw does this, it writes to the whole card then verifies the files.

For a card like this that is huge and a little slow it will take hours, worth it though and recommended.

My Samsung Evo Pro+ 512GB writes at ~80GB/s

I’ll take twenty of those instead lol

    • Nice catch; edited.

      Thanks

  • $12.23 if you happen to be making an order already with a 30% off code. Since I don't need the space though I would rather buy a 128GB Samsung for a similar-ish price.

  • if move speed is my move speed, it wont be very fast

  • Samsung Evo Plus 512gb were just $42 the other week, why bother with these cheap cards.

  • I would trust the quality and speed of this as far as I could throw my car.

Got one and H2testw v1.4 reports test finished without errors
    Writing speed: 40.9 MByte/s
    Reading speed: 72.5 MByte/s

    • Sounds about right
