Much more handy than carrying a set of wrenches around.

Have you used one before? They clamp down on the fittings really hard (10 to 1 lever of whatever force you put on the handle), and i've never chipped the finish of anything I've screwed with with pliers wrench.

      Might be operator error?

        Clearly they havent used.

If you need the bigger 250mm and don't mind the atramentized finish they're $60.86 (chrome ones are roughly $20 more). https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B07G978BXQ/ref=ya_aw_od_pi…

    • Nice… I can see Amazon have another version, and the model is different:

      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JNFYMLX/ref=twister_B09RBC2F…
      $75.50 Version 8601250 where
$60 (discount) Version 8602250 for the one you mentioned

the only difference I can see is the handle - one looks plastic, one another type.

any thoughts on comparing the 2?

      • For sure, the blue and red handles are definitely thicker and they call them comfort grip. They genuinely feel nicer to use and I have a kit of Knipex in comfort grip, pliers, cutters, cobras and now a 180mm version of the pliers wrench.
BUT that does make them thicker which is annoying if you are packing stuff into a toolbag that you carry around for work. For that type of stuff I like the red handles as they as slimmer and you can fit a couple of pairs of things into a side pocket of a toolbag whereas the comfort grips would take up the whole pocket.
The comfort grips also don't really fit into the pockets of work pants as easily, I carry a 150mm cobra in my pocket at work and the thiness of the red handles means they are thinner than a Sharpie, more like a pen thickness, whereas the comfort grips are much thicker

  • One-of-a kind tool

    For good reason.
