      It's fairly similar to what Maccas offers regularly and is almost matching Red Rooster for their Christmas in July deals. Difference being some deals you have to spend atleast $10 or $25. But theres offers like $5 off.

      Speaking of, next week deals for RR seem likely to change tomorrow.

    FYI I added the 20% off promo yesterday + cheap as chips and left it in cart, it is there today and showing as $23.95 -$4.79 = $19.16. It was showing checkout option but now it says promo conditions not met.

      It's been a while since I had a zinger so I was a little taken aback at the state of them these days.

      My first thought was of Falling Down.

      This may be the upper limit of what they're worth. At best with a good tail wind.

        Well… now an hour later and a realisation has dawned on me:

        I ate 4000Kj and now I'm hungry again.

        Given that I just made myself a sandwich I'd say this is not a real deal. Doesn't give me any hope for the rest of them and I was thinking of giving the $8 Double Tender Mates Pack a go.

            @cheapy: Yup. Yesterday I had a curry dahl.

            Effectively lentil soup. Had that with bread and butter. Not a shred of hunger felt all night and I went to sleep around 1-2am and had dinner at 5pm.

            Cheaper than this, better for me (not just in that it was less Kjs) and it tasted better.

    KFC's honestly done more damage to their brand and put more people off their app by running this promotion versus not running it at all.

    Between the Zinger fail and these non-deals, you gotta wonder who in the marketing department came up with this bright idea.

        I'm in the "rarely eats KFC" category and so far nuggets and zingers and their burgers in general are off the menu. As it stands and from my experiences so far I'm not even really tempted by a $1 Twister any more. I might bother but… meh. Undecided.

        That said this is not a result of piss-poor deals (which some of these are) or the snafu at the beginning but from the quality of the food itself.

          Well. Maybe $60. ;)

          1.3kg of chicken breast
          500g of kangaroo souvlaki
          100g of chicken souvlaki spices (50g used)
          100g of tuwook spices (50g used)
          flat parsley
          curly parsley
          mint
          lettuce
          hummus
          flat bread
          lemons

          already had:
          half a cup of tri-colour quinoa
          tomatoes
          onions
          chilli sauce (kebab kind)
          coke zero
          high grade EVO
          vinegar

          What I got: souvlaki and towook wraps with home made tabouleh, hummus, salad and chilli sauce.

          If I hadn't been too tired I'd've added garlic to the mix. If you buy the jarred crushed/grated garlic it's not expensive. You just need to cook out the ickiness.

          All in all not necessarily 7 days worth but close enough that I wont be cooking for a while and I still have some variety in flavour. Also healthy as. :)

          Also can totally recommend kangaroo souvlaki btw. :)

      There's two $11 double tender mates packs on offer.
      One looks like it has a full gravy pot, instead of potato and gravy pot. 7537kj for the gravy vs 7580kj for the P&G.

      Unfortunately, also comes up as "item not currently available in this store" when I try to order what looks like the full gravy version. The P&G version is no problem at all.

    I got scammed by the double tender offer. They told me, at the driveway pickup counter, that they were out of tenders. So they gave me those greasy fried strips instead which tasted horrible. I should have just asked for a refund.

        yes, yes, swapped to all the local stores near me, ended up going down to one and asking the manager there and who ended up selling me two over counter. the manager mentioned that KFC turned the deal off around 4.15pm my time……..
