Steam Summer Sale is back, along with free trading cards and stickers. Lots of games on sale, but always better to check gg.deals first for any other vendors that are selling games cheaper.

Free trading cards - Obtain your free trading cards (once per day, tradable/marketable!) by exploring your Discovery Queue.

Free stickers - And claim your free stickers (once per day, sadly not tradable/marketable) by browsing one of the categories (ie. Action, Strategy, Casual, etc.).

The trading cards are currently going for $0.08 each off the SCM, so you can make a decent amount if you're wanting to build up your Steam Wallet a bit. 11 cards to collect and a nice badge + 100 XP if you collect all of them.

    I've had steam for years and yet I still have no idea what the point is of stickers and trading cards

      Stickers I honestly have no idea, you use it in chats and comments and what-not on Steam but the real value is in the trading cards; you can sell them for Steam credit and eventually buy games or items off the SCM with it. Either that, or you create badges and level up your Steam profile when you complete card sets.

      Noticed a dozen or so free ones that were already on my account from achievements in a game. There seems to be a marketplace on steam for these, tracking current market value per card. Sold all of them for an impressive total of $1

      To distract you with something that feels like a 'bonus' when the only bonus I care about is free games or dollars to spend on games.

      If I'm not wrong, it's a card drop a day throughout the entire Summer Sale period, meaning a potential 14 card drops ($1.12!).

    if you're really board and have heaps of steam games in your inventory, its worth running idle master, mining cards from games that drop them when you play and selling them for steam credit.

    not my fault if your steam account gets banned :D
