Just reminding people, it's hard to keep up with everything free/included with subs.

      • Its a single player game, by the time it gets off GamePass its going to be dirt cheap lol

        • +2

It won't get off Gamepass, as Bethesda is owned by MS now.

I can vouch for that 😁

  • i forget how much I paid for this but it was super cheap on ps5 and pc so I got it but yeah its an ok game.

    • +2

I wouldn't buy it again at $14, it isn't half as good as any of the Dishonored games.

      • pretty sure I got a buy one get one free deal with Jb hifi a while back and just decided to get both the pc and ps5 version at the same time.

just could not get into this game, did not understand the hype for it

    • This exactly.. it was on all lists of good games.. but started and failed to continue multiple times.. probably gets better as you go..

      • +1

It doesn't really. It continually feels like a demo of a better game.

  • There's a thin manual and one disk, but I think it's just Steam or download client.
Remember when a game fit on a DVD? Man, I feel so old. :-(

Remember when they fit on 3.5" floppies?

      • +3

Remember having to type it in manually from a magazine??

      • +1

Remember when they came on 5.25" floppies?

      • Yeah! MSFS needed three 5.25" floppies. The latest version would need 125,000 lol

      • +3

After 5.25" Floppies, we called those 3.5" disks in South Africa… Stiffies…

I kid you not… I found out the hard way when I asked my blonde and quite gorgeous colleague when starting in a bank in the UK if "She had seen my stiffie"

thats pretty cool that an AAA game is selling physical copies for pc

  • looks like the Stranglehold cover

  • Page 404's, looks like it's sold out

Played it, it's pretty underwhelming and repetitive. It sucks you in by making you think it's going to reveal all kinds of cool stuff, but it just doesn't. It's four small levels repeated ad nauseum, there's only one solution to the game and it's explicitly spelled out to you, and after about two hours of play you've already seen pretty much everything the game has to offer.

Don't get me wrong, it's still fun, but it doesn't do anything that Dishonored and Dishonored 2 haven't already done much, much better.

I've played through it a few times and still find it to be such a simple, joyous fun time. It's simple, not over-complicated, not too long, and just fun. Was my favourite game of 2021 by a strong margin. I much preferred the tone and universe to the Dishonored games, which I just couldn't get into.

  • Very Arkane-like game. Fairly innovative and the distinctive art style. Decent weapons. Belie Dishonoured and Prey game though. What a shame Redfall was a disaster.

  • This game is pretty janky. Has a Bioshock/Dishonoured vibe.
