Unless they’ve changed it this one is terrible to integrate because it’s actually two RTSP streams not one (no stitching).
The Annke provides a single RTSP stream of both views into a single panorama

    • Link to annke camera? Haven't heard of it

fixed in v2. I've got the version 2 and its a single stream. Integrated into Home Assistant/Frigate no worries.

      • Is that hardware or software v2?

        • hardware v2

  • 4K Dual-Lens 180° Panoramic Wi-Fi Camera

    Not really a 4K camera.

It's two less resolution cameras and the images are stitched to make them bigger.

    • Not sh*t sherlock. :)

As far as the user is concerned, it is a single 4K stream.

Don't get the same quality if you zoom….

Any reolink security systems worth buying over a system like Eufy 2?

    • +2

Reolink is for value/budget cameras generally, they aren't great in low light.

      • My Reolink Lumus has awesome low light ability

        • Without the help of lights or IR and without smearing or low frame rate?

          • +1

@samfisher5986: Haven't tested but it has an integrated white Led spotlight and IR lights. Normally cameras are used for both surveillance, security and deterrents so don't have an issue that it actually turns on a spotlight to aid recording as well as adding a visual deterrent

            • @10101010101: Yes but having a low quality camera with a light and IR lights does not make it a good camera exactly.

Its fine if the lights allow you to identify people from reasonable distances, especially without ruining facial features and license plates.

Overall its better to just have a better camera and then you capture more important details.

      • they aren't great in low light.

        good enough for me…

        • that's enough light.

        • You are joking right?

The camera is facing straight towards a bright street light…

Any Reolink is better if you actually want security of your data

      • Reolinks are just as, if not more, hacked/hackable.

Eufy had one (pretty major) flaw that they fixed quickly.

Bottom line, if your camera is internet-accessible, or you upload data to somewhere that is, then it can be got.

  • are the flood lights globes easy to change and universal ones?

    • +1

The website is not loading properly on mobile but fairly sure in this day and age it would be integrated led. (So no, short of having exactly the right chip and having soldering experience)

      • dealbreaker…

        • fwiw i dont know of ANY smart camera with floodlight that feature basic PAR38 or similar replaceable lamps…

  • I would suggest the TrackMix over this stitched one…

    • It looks good, but why specifically would you prefer this over the above? PoE is a great addition imho.

Does this have the same two RTSP stream issue as mentioned above from Commodore64?

  • defloodWau

OP, could you please enable this code for the PoE model as well?

  • Is this one available in black as well?

  • I bought a camera last week from them and was charged in Hong Kong dollars resulting in a currency conversion fee despite showing as A$.
They refunded the fee immediately when I contacted them.
Worth being aware when choosing your credit card for payment

  • Got Reolink at work and home, Argus Pro 3, works well.
    Great support team.
    Very quick to respond.

  • Is there another sale planned for prime day?
