Seems more of ad than a deal.

    • Our prices are lower than competitors for this type of product

      • First of all you do not have prices on your website.

Second you are not even an ISP.

A line from your website: "We've partnered with local Telco Providers"

Why would we go with you rather than direct with Telco provider?

        • We operate as a Virtual ISP, primarily focused on reselling internet services directly to customers. In the past, we didn't display prices on our website, but I'll take care of adding them tonight.

Being a reseller allows us to offer discounts on the services we provide, thanks to the wholesale prices we obtain from telecommunication companies. These discounts are not available to end customers who choose to purchase directly from the telco.

          • @Arcomm IT: I think the site needs to be more clear.

so you guys provide 24/7 support on ISP issues or the customer will need to speak to the ISP directly

            • @myketa: We are the first point of contact, anything we can't resolve is logged with the ISP

            • @myketa: I do agree the website could be reworded to explain this better, I'll work on fixing that ASAP

      • Not going to lie, I did a quick google search I found multiple of different providers offering cheaper plans and with free installs.

        • Could you link them here?

          • @Arcomm IT: Google is your friend mate.

            • @myketa: I can only find CBD Zone Prices being cheaper. We are offering our rates across rural zones as well meaning we are quite a bit cheaper for anyone outside any CBD zone.

    • I'm sorry you feel that way, We aim to have the most competitive prices despite being a smaller IT company. What should I offer next time to make it a more appealing deal?

  • Free installs on EE isn't really a special deal as most other providers do the same with 36 month contracts..

    • Although some do not all providers offer free installs. Our prices are more competitive than others offered

      • +2

Yeah, they do look fairly good for EE - maybe change the deal/title to emphasise that instead of the free install - as that has been played out by a lot of EE providers.

        • Thank you for your recommendation, I have updated the listing.

    Ad.

Not anything that other providers haven't already been offering at similar prices for years.

    • I'm sorry you feel that way, We aim to have the most competitive prices despite being a smaller IT company. What should I offer next time to make it a more appealing deal?

  • OP, is this a discount to your current pricing structure? Or is this just your current pricing structure?

If the later, then this isn't a deal and should be removed from ozb

    • New financial year discounted pricing

      • +1

Yes, but is this your new pricing structure for the new financial year?

          • +2

@Arcomm IT: Then that means this is your current pricing structure, which means it's not a discount on the prices you are currently offering.

Regardless of this may be a good deal or not in comparison to competitors, OZB is specifically for discounts…a new pricing structure is not a discount.

Which also means this is technically just an ad, i'd recommend you remove the post before admins do.

            • +1

@whitepuma: Alright I'll relist with further clarification about discounts

            • @whitepuma: Post has been fixed regarding the discount we are running

  • I just don't get why you'd offer so many speed plans.

Who in their right mind would choose a 50/50 plan for $292.10, when for an extra $2.30 you can get double the speed?

Not knocking your business with this question, it just seems odd … and pointless?

    • That's unfortunately how NBN passes on pricing for EE to us.

    • I've removed speed's that don't make much sense from the post

      • You mean like an extra $3.45 for 100mb/s 😂

It's all good. Silly pricing structures like this have existed for years. Clearly the accountants get involved …

        • Yeah, I think NBN is intentionally pushing people to higher speeds with their pricing

    What's "Manged IT"?

    • -2

For businesses that want IT to manage their internet, phones and computers

      • +1

        Manged?

        • -2

The internet side of things is pretty normal, We just also offer managed IT services

          • +1

@Arcomm IT: Your website is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. You have "Manged Services on your home page rather than "Managed Services"
I suggest you get someone to proof your content. It doesn't instill any confidence.

            • @BOGOF: Thank you for pointing that out I've corrected the error.

              • @Arcomm IT: There are many more!

                • @BOGOF: I'll spend some time going through the site tonight.
