3050 Ti is a joke
People who are looking at this and thinking it's underwhelming (like me), what kind of gaming style laptops would you reccomend? My partner wants to upgrade from their old 1060 MSI machine, and the only things I can figure they want is 16gb RAM minimum, and to be future proofed (as much as a laptop can be I guess). Any ideas?
minimum in laptop 3070, possibly 4070 if you budget allows, those are the sweet spots but you also need to take into account the TDP, if it has low TDP a 3070 can be worse than a 3060.

At that price point I'd expect at least a RTX3060 100-140W tbh. RTX3050 Ti is severly underpowered and underperformed for even smooth 1080p gaming.
