If you add the ultimate to Apple Pay it’s easier to slip through… I had no problems “converting” $700 of Ultimate gift cards to Apple gift cards over 4 separate Apple Pay transactions.

@javawoo: Yeah, just tell the person at the counter that you want to split the transaction over multiple cards. Had no problems doing this before.
*Only thing is you have to remember the value of each card in there. I made it a real pain in the ass for myself last time with a mix of $100 and $250s.

I was told by Sydney Westfield store, the limit is 3 cards. Even if for $15, the maximum can get is 3x$15 which is only $45.
Another store told me the limit is two and the other day was told 5.It’s really at the discretion of the staff how many they want to sell.
