It's been this price at appliancecentral for few weeks.
Now JB Hifi and Binglee have also reduced it to $249.

Would this be OK for a small apartment with predominantly carpet floors? Or is it worth waiting for a another sub $500 sale on the C3 cat and dog?

  I bought one for my 1 bedder and its great. We have hard floors and rugs. Its better on hard floors than carpet but for half the price of the C3 i think it does the job fine.
