  • Haha. Bought all for $349 on the Amazon deal then try flog off here for $50 more

  • How do these go? My Dyson V8 is hopeless now so looking to upgrade during EOFY

    • IMO, you cant compare this with dyson v8. This is wet and dry vacuum, the dyson version will be Dyson WashG

    • +1

Same boat here. Dyson v8 battery is dying and the run time is so short that I can’t get anything done.

Looking for another stick vacuum for hard wood floor and car clean, but don’t want to pay premium for the new AI inflated feature. Just need something that clean and with decent run time

  • Is the Tineco iFLOOR 5 the same thing as this? if not, which one should I get (I was already set on the Tineco but it might just be discovery bias)

    • +1

Kind of the same thing, but Dreame H12 Pro has dual-side edge cleaning and hot air drying
iFloor 5 only has single side edge cleaning, and only spin drying

    • +1

This is a totally different brand. I have the Tineco iFLOOR 5, and it's fantastic. Highly recommend getting it. I believe Tineco just do these types of floor mops, so probably have better R&D.

  • +2

Personal advise choose Tineco over Dreame on Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner. (Having such a hard time with them before, battery is the major issue)

Recommended to visit https://www.productreview.com.au review and have some insight.

    • TBH I dont treat productreview too seriously because most people tend to only report when they lodge a complain

eg. the last hardfloor mop I used is a Bissell Crosswave Pet multi surface 2225f, which only has a rating of 3.2 https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/bissell-crosswave-…
but amazon does have 4.3 https://www.amazon.com.au/BISSELL-Crosswave-Vacuum-Cleaner-G…

For me, I have been using the same machine over 5 years and never have an issue

Just recently changed to Dreame H12 Pro mainly wants the edge-to-edge cleaning, and getting a battery one for better flexibility
it seems most of these mops major complains are either water leaks, short battery life or machine no longer works, and experience can varies based on usage and maintenance

    • Tineco have their own battery and charging issues too, and pretty poor after sales service. Quite a few people in Aus reporting that tineco have no local service/repair center and their chosen remedy in a lot of cases seems to be offering an insultingly low trade in price to upgrade to a different model tineco, despite the original one still being under warranty and having failed in <2yrs. We're talking $50 off for a 2yr old device that you paid $600-$800 for originally.
A lot of the problems seem to be with the charging, will charge for a few seconds then cut off. Only way to get it to charge is to babysit it and take it off/place it back on the charging dock many times until it finally decides to keep charging. In my case, despite doing this I could usually get it to charge but couldn't get it to self clean the roller - mine was a combo unit that could be used as a hand-held vac, or clipped into the main unit to use as a wet mop/vac, when trying to self clean it would think the vac body wasn't installed.

I got this from amazon and on first use it gave error of "fill clean water tank" (ofcourse it was full with clean water). I returned and used this deal to order from mydeals and guess what, same issue. I have opened a service request with dreame. Anyone had this issue?

    • I have this wet Vac, had it for maybe close to 6months. No issue

      • I may have got bad batch twice

        • +1

Could be a connection issue? Check all the plastic wraps are removed.

          • @Ughhh: I am sure I did check but will check again

          • @Ughhh: Check, there is no wrap or blockage between tank connectors and vaccum

        • I got the same problem and found that its because the clean water tank is not truely full
once i fill it truely full (up to the top cap) the error is gone

          • @littlesoldier: I will do that now

          • @littlesoldier: Just tried, still same error. "Fill clean water tank"

            • @irmalik: try fill the clean water tank to full again
then press the bottom valve with finger of the clean water tank, water should start coming out from the bottom
then flip upside down, there's a small hole near the top where water will come out as well

After done the above, fill the water tank full again
then put back to the machine and try on Auto mode

              • @littlesoldier: I tried all the steps, this time the error came back after a minute and also the roller never got wet.

        • Sounds like user error. Try again
