Not really worth it if it isn't wet and dry

    • Those generations of people that bought non wet and dry for big bucks must have been fools!

      • Imagine thinking that what people did 50 years ago is relevant to today

said like a true contemporary human…. ignorant of history and living in a cocoon.

          • @rooster7777: Bro, it's just vacuums, technology advances.
Spare me the pretentious lessons, we're living in 2025.

            • @nikoris: Bro, I guess you erase all your prior knowledge and experiences when you celebrate new year's day, because otherwise you'd be living in the past. Dementia will be easy for you!

Literally just for cleaning up a fireplace or old BBQ. Peak laziness when a $5 brush and shovel does the same in probably half the time. FFS

    • Good for ceramic Kamado. Low effort

Weird, I've owned one of these and never cleaned my BBQ or nonexistent fireplace, but definitely cleaned almost everything else with it!

Well now you need to get a fireplace, obviously. I'm sure there's a deal somewhere around here.

Cleaning the ash out of a Coonara heater with a brush and shovel in my direct experience will put fine ash into the air in the room. I've had to make a paste in mine, with water and flour, to capture the damned stuff and prevent it getting air borne - but that makes it's own kind of mess.

I've tried two vacuums in the past, both blew fine ash out of the exhaust port. Maybe this one won't.

      • Speaking of fine ash, does this have a HEPA filter? If not it will be spewing fine ash into the air too.

        • No idea yet, but I agree it'd need one to be functional … so I'm assuming it has one.

      • I have the corded version of this Ozito and it worked well, no ash out of if the exhaust. Tempted to get this one just to go cordless!

    Ordered. Cheers op.

  • They went off very quickly!

    • Open the link in an incognito window (won't have location set) might still be able to see the listing.

      • Thanks… none in SA… must figure we're too dirty! ~~

Does it use a special filter? Seems like ash would require a better than average filter.

    • Built in filter and it also has a filter cleaning system
      Manual here

  • Usable on concrete or drywall dust?

    • Why not ? As long as you can vacuume what you need with the small aluminium crevice tool

(no wide floor tool included, might be able to hack an unused different model though).

  • i have the Ozito PXC 18V 10L Cordless Wet And Dry Vacuum / Inflator

i got this for the car, but actually end up using it for everything. dust extractor for sawing and sanding, cleaning house, etc… i love it, it does everything. kinda a swiss army knife for me. also great for camping inflating beds and toys, vacuuming sand and dirt, etc…
