  • I got it (Velocity platinum). Cheers OP

  • :( no beuno on plat charge & edge.

  • Targeted offer :(

  • Checked my AMEX app, definitely targeted.

  • Not for Qantas Ultimate Card.

    • Interesting. Wife got it on hers. Not on my secondary card or my Gold Amex or her secondary on my Gold Amex.

  • Damm don't have this (explorer)

  • +1

never targeted for the even remotely useful ones sigh

Try shelving your card for a while. A lot of these targeted offers don’t come up for stores if you’ve recently spent there.

      • I only use my Amex when a promo is on. No promo = no purchases on there.

  • Nothing here for DJs Amex, standard Elevate Amex and Velocity Escape

    • +1

Is the Elevate a grandfathered or discontinued product?

      • It's a product for Westpac customers who had an Amex.

  • Essentials: no beuno.

  • not on mine - Amex Gold

  • Got one on my Gold. Guess buy the GC and spend later…

  • Got it on Qantas ultimate, not on platinum charge

Good time to save more JB GC for iphone 15 pro :)

  • Not on Explorer either. Really considering not renewing the card from this year onwards. Explorer doesn't get targetted for most good deals, and just got an email the other day about how the reward points are getting more expensive to transfer to Krisflyer etc.

  • Not on my Velocity Escape or Qantas Discovery.

  • Platinum Reserve got one.

  • Got it on my Velocity Escape

  • Can I buy gift card? Nothing in the t&c's that says it's excluded.

    • +2

Go for your life. The card terminal (and by extension AMEX) will have no idea what you're actually buying.

      • +1

Not sure with JB, but Amex knew I had prescription meds even though I was above minimum purchase price. This was for Chem Warehouse. I later found out prescription was excluded. So they do know what's in your basket.

Just purchased it and received an email from Amex its triggered.

          • @cloudie9: Was it an online digital gift card or in-store physical gift card?

            • @escusemay: Online and shown on my Amex app it is credited with $30.

  • Got it on my qantas discovery card. Thanks.

  • Nothing in gold regular, though there is a $50/$250 from Suttons (car dealership).

  • On my explorer. Thanks OP

  • +1

Damn just spend $250 yesterday there and got this offer today. Its a click and collect order that i have not collected yet, will go there and try to cancel the order and repurchase it again

  • Received on platinum charge. Thanks OP

  • Didn’t receive on platinum charge or business charge

  • +1

Mine says it expires on 7/8/23 (not 8/7/23 as this post suggests) - is this correct?

    • Mine also says 07/08/23 expiry. I think the post is wrong.

      • Thanks - I've just put in a report so they can update the expiry.

  • Can't seem to find it on my AMEX app?

    • -1

      Because clearly you're not targeted.

  • Anyone successfully got the statement credits from purchasing digital gift cards?
