I own this particular blu-ray player (picked it up for the same price around Christmas last year) and thought I'd let people know what they'd be getting.
The screen resolution is much better than I would have expected (720p), and the HDMI out is quite handy. Battery life is about 2 to 2 and a half hours.
Build quality isn't great (normal for all Soniq products), the laser struggles easily (that is, it won't play scratched discs that other players in my house can) and the worst bit is that the motor is LOUD.
I would highly recommend people test it out in store first to see how loud it really is. For $99 though, it's not bad as long as you know what you're getting.
