Steps:
1. Sign up for a MySony Account if you dont have one.
2. Navigate to the Sony store PS5 product page
3. Hit Request Price match and fill in Amazon AU selling it for $699
4. Once PM approved (~1 hour for me), Sony will load the PS5 on your mySony account cart with the price matched of $699

      Can you price match Amazon at JB? Last time I went in there I tried to price match an Apple TV, they said they don’t price match Amazon.

        Ive done it, may have changed and may find the franchisee might have their own rule to avoid it. Generally they have been willing to price match most things as long as its not clearance but they may not have much wiggle room with consoles to drop the price.

    Remember when Sony increased the RRP of the PS5 here by $50 and cited "cost of living pressures" as the reason? And here we are, $50 less than original RRP quite regularly now.

    (before this gets turned into a console wars thread, I own a PS5 I bought at original RRP - this is a commentary on companies gouging in general)

    @scar4ace just curious, I also submitted a PM and then AMEX offer and got the same feedback as you did in the previous post where the post got pulled with the comment "Price Match is not a bargain" - what needed to be done for it to be approved? Just curious so I can share the benefit with others, instead of just me =)

      Hey db2k oh that's interesting didn't see yours….my PM post got pulled, this post was up earlier which was the original Amazon deal.
      As per this guideline provided seems ok to reference original deal/price in title then append the price beat details.
