All? Like all ALL? Or just "all"

    • +1

      App says 'on everything'

  • If I have Amazon gift cards anyone know how I adjust for 2c to be Westpac credit card?

    • You can't, you can only try to get as close as possible.

If your GC balance is too healthy you can create a new Amazon account, load up your balance appropriately and go from there.

Make a separate purchase first to leave the balance you want. Then click though SB to complete you purchase with GC and Westpac. Immediately cancel initial order.

        Mindblown 🤯

        Thanks for the tip

      • Well done. Great tip. Thank you.

      • Just a heads up that this didn't work for me, perhaps because my item took about 4 days to ship. It was correct initially (~$75 GC/~$5 Westpac card) but by the time it shipped the full amount was taken out of my GC balance.

        • just checked mine too and same here unfortunately. i ordered around 1am 11 july, received dispatch email with toll tracking around 4pm 11 july. item won't arrive till next friday. whole amount taken from GC.

  • So will non-Westpac plebs get anything?

Would be quite disappointed if this was the best on offer. 5% and a $20 cap.

I was surprised that the leadup to EOFY both SB and CR did not offer anything really notable in comparison to previous years. My wishlist just keeps getting larger.

Tomorrow is Prime day though, so I'd say its pretty generous to stack with some already big discounts.

  • Can you buy gift cards?

    • +1

Cashback is ineligible for Prime membership subscription purchases, Gift Cards, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Acces

  • +3

This makes it complicated for gift card stacking

  • I presume this is only useful for categories that have less than 5% cashback? This isn't 5% adding onto the already normal cashback rates is it?

    • +2

'Bonus' cashback would indicate that it's additional cashback on top of the existing cashback rates (for those categories that have cashback). Keeping in mind many popular categories usually have 0% cashback (pantry, computers etc.), in which case it will just be 5% cashback total.

What are y'all buying from Amazon on prime day?

Doesn't seem to be many good deals on Amazon anymore…

  • -1

Does this work for cards under the Westpac umbrella llike St George?

  • Can you get the bonus cashback multiple times?

    • Doesn't mention the cap is per member, so yes.

  • +4

If history repeats itself, there'll be upsized cashback from CR & SB on all categories. don't jump on this deal straightaway!

  • Is it stackable with baby wishlist completion discount?

  • +1

Time to bring out the dusty westpac card.

  • +1

    Can promo credit be used?

    • Good question. If I had to assume I'd say no.

  • Yeah rep confirmed that cashback ineligible if promo credit used

  • My physical card hasnt arrived yet, so does the digital card qualify?

    • I have and it did.

  • Doesn't expire until tomorrow. I'm hoping for a bigger general cashback bonus tomorrow.

  • so not extra BONUS 5%?

isnt it strange they have 10% uncapped for general public?

  • So is the $20 cap per purchase or per card?

My purchase from Tuesday hasn't even been tracked yet

    • mine hasnt either

    • Same issue here - the amazon cashback has tracked, but not the westpac bonus (and I paid the full amount directly on the card)

    • Same here

    • Same

    • Same here.

Tuesday didn't track at all and Wednesday ones show up as calculating with Westpac bonus at $0.

      • +1

Same here with the calculating and zero bonus.

      • Same here. Who to contact regarding this?

        • Any help or insights that can be provided @gotyourback ?

          • +1

@griffy: I had to lodge a ticket and it's now been credited manually. It's good that it's done but a time consuming process.

My purchases themselves tracked fine, my westpac card was linked (and other bonuses have tracked no problem) so it sounds like an issue with this deal….

          • +2

@griffy: Hey mates, I'll flag with the team that a few users are reporting some tracking issues, but your best bet is to submit a Missing Cashback claim and our customer service team will be able to investigate this for you to get your individual purchases looked at.

            • @gotyourback: Lodged a ticket on the 12th and still waiting. Westpac bonus not tracked. Chased them up every week for an update but get "havnt received response from the store"

              • @Mafarn89: Hi there mate, sorry for the delay here, often we are waiting on info from store's to be able to resolve missing tracking so they can take a short while for us to be able to confirm, but I'm always happy to take a looks and help should you have any issues with your claims if you shoot me a DM.
