  Ohhh… Very tempting. Should I buy it now or maybe it will even be cheaper tomorrow? This or the Echo Show 5? Mmmm… Decisions, decisions.

    Not sure if my Echo show 5 is faulty or just doesn’t have as many microphones and struggles to hear my voice as oppose to my old echo dot 3rd gen.

      I have a show5 that doesnt hear me well and im two metres away but another show5 in the office hears me through the walls.

    Got the Echo 5, pretty slow but nice as a dynamic photo frame, clock, weather, date display.

    i wish i could mod it to install apps or include other information such as powerpal, or my pc's stat screen

    i would get the echo dot 5 for the bedroom because of the inbuilt temp sensor.

        Yes. Much better idea. The show 5 is rubbish as a bedside clock. Won’t auto dim and full of bugs. Had many and all are the same.

  just bought an echo 4th gen from amazon for 74, not sure if officeworks will give a better price.
  asked them this morning and they do not want to beat the prime only price…

  According to the questions on the Amazon page the display is dimmable. Is the minimum brightness really dim? I want something really dim for a bedside clock, especially when it's a blue light display like this.

  Is the minimum brightness really dim?

  From the YouTube reviews, it is dimmable in different stages where the most dimmed looks as if the display is almost turned off.
