  • Can you link the filters? thx!

    • Here you go, this is the official one from Amazon. It goes as low as $59 sometimes.

      • Thank you! also one last question, early prime day deals cant be claimed till tomorow i assume?

        • You can order it now. I ordered on Saturday and expecting it to arrive today :)

  • Is there a sleep mode or way to turn off the lights? How loud is it?

    • I leave mine on 2 and it's fairly quiet like white noise. 1 would be really quiet. 3 is really loud.

I think there's a way to turn off the light on youtube but i just put a cloth over the light at night.

Thanks OP! Bought a couple to cover my house. Small dog and allergies so I'm hoping this helps. Have been wanting some for a while but didn't know where to start so you've saved me the trouble.

    • You're welcome :)

  • It's got an ioniser - can it be disabled?

    • +1

Looks like you can - has a button on the top for it.

    • +1

There's an ioniser button and you can leave it off. I've never turned mine on.

  • This or the Xiaomi Air Purifier 3H / Xiaomi Air Purifier 4?

    • +1

When i looked into the Xiaomi i didn't like it's auto mode as the sensor wasn't very good so I went with the Coway.
      https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/xiaomi-air-purifier-3h-a…

In any case I don't use auto mode anymore and just leave the coway on 2. I'm not sure if the xiaomi forces you to use auto mode or not.

      • +1

Ended up getting the Coway. Looks like filter availability on the Xiaomi is still limited. Shame there's no app or screens built into this though!

FYI this thing is 'discounted' on Amazon all the time, normally at around $280. It's hard to justify around $130 more than the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3H/4 for a similar CADR as well.

    no wifi :(

  • Is there a difference between this and this?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B01728NLRG/?coliid=IH1DNY2FH7AT…

    • That link says it's sold by AU STORE TRADE, not Coway Australia. So expensive lol.

Hey OP, since you have one, are you able to confirm something - does the appliance properly switch on and work at the previous setting (speed control) if you were to cut it's power and turn in back on again?
The reason I ask is because I would like to be able to control it with a smart plug.
Coway doesnt unfortunately sell their S versions in AU…. the S versions have wifi connectivity.

    • +1

My one sure does. I turn it off and move it to different rooms and the settings are still the same. If you were leaving it in the same spot you could just let it run 24/7, it hardly uses any power since it's just a fan and 2 small lights, no screen.

      • When you turn the mains power back on in the 2nd room, do you also have to turn on the unit?

        • +2

If i don't turn the unit off first and unplug it, then plug it in again it turns on straight away. No need to turn the unit on.

I scrolled past this like 10 times thinking it was an iPod Shuffle

The TruSens Z-3000 is back to $249. Looking to get another one, should I get the Coway or another TruSens? Coway has higher CADR but the TruSens has an external air quality sensor which kind of makes sense?
