thats very cheap for a name brand shoe. is there something wrong with these?

    • +7

I bought it and use daily. Can't complain.

    • the fact they are blue.

      • +2

I dont think so - colours are subjective and I doubt majority have a problem with blue

    • +3

My feet move around a lot in the pair i bought. I have to tie the laces extra tight.

      • +1

        Ian Knot is the solution.

      • I threaded the laces through the very top hole that is usually left empty and they now don't move.

    • I doubt there’s anything especially wrong about them. Depending on what you care about I’m sure they’d be fine

From a technical perspective the materials seem fairly basic, and it’s not particularly high tech

From an aesthetic perspective they look pretty inoffensive but they’re definitely not cool

    • Personal opinion, but fine for walking in, poor for running in. I think they fall into a gap where runners don't want them and walkers want a different look. Like I said though, personal opinion.

      • +1

yeh i just ordered - no running just for travel - walking airports + cities + that look semi decent
lots of comments about running loose though. I just used my feet measurements and their guide but I think still runs large oh well room for gel pads i guess

        • +1

They'll do that job just fine

I need wider shoes, and found adidas to be terrible, they are generally very narrow. Asics or new balance are a lot better, or even skechers would suit someone requiring wider shoes (although skechers don’t last much).

      • +2

New Balance have wide sizes. Look for 2E & 4E - designates wide sizing.

    • I bought them when they were $45 and bloody love them.

  • Thanks OP. Got a pair.

    • got it today. I was surprised how fast the shipment was. tried it on. It was just ok. for $32 adidas running shoes with free 2 day shipping… I cant complain.

  • Thanks OP, bought a pair!

  • Thanks OP. Got a pair.

    • yeah me too.
oh you're talking about the shoes…

How does the conversion to us foot size work ?
    Is 9 AUS = 10 US ?

    • +2

American sizes for Ladies are the same as Australian. American sizes for Men are about half a size smaller than Australian; so if you wear an Australian men's 8½ then your American size will normally be 9

How does the conversion to us foot size work ?

Pro top: work out your size in EU, then always use that to convert. UK/US/AU sizing is always confusing.

  • Is this for overpronators?

  • +3

    Don't need. Bought a pair.

  • Have one since a year. Pretty good for price

  • Thanks OP, just gotta cancel my eBay Plus trial now :)

  • +1

Damn, paid $45 a few weeks ago and thought that was cheap!

  • +1

I have a pair of these and actually used them for weekly 5km runs for the last 6 months and also casual wear, and they have held up well.
Sizing was consistent with Asics Gel Kayanos, which was my replacement running shoe.

    • Wow. I bought these last year. They've lasted longer than a pair of cheapie NB's that I bought at a similar time.

For me, they're okay for gymfloor use, but found them unsuitable for any sort of impact training - I developed a bit of foot, ankle, shin soreness.

      • Yes this model has Adidas' lower end foam and cushioning in it. They'll be fine for walking around a city or playing with kids in a park, but a lot of people will find them inadequate for 5km runs etc. And that's alright, there are $200 running shoes for a reason.

  • Are they using the cloudform insoles? If yes I will pass as they are rubbish.

    • +1

      Good chat!
What is the issue with cloudform?

Grabbed a pair thanks, running low on shoes I haven't worn.

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Great find

  • What are sizing like with these? Im normally a US 10.5 in most shoes, but my other addidas are Us11 and a tad too small

    • whenever people talk sizing - lol - check the cm on something that fits well and work backwards. Most sizing charts have cms.

  • Thanks!
Perfect gift for the father-in-law to wear with his acid wash jeans while making inappropriate observational jokes to complete strangers.

  • Got ebay plus for 9$ few weeks ago. Today was the time to get it back. Thanks OP.

Perfect article towards becoming a gopnik

Thanks OP. You're my boy blue!

Bought one cause someone else did.

  • Bought one, hopefully they can fit my toe-clubbed feet.

  • Hmm need some good walking/gym shoes for big feet, 13 US roughly, any recommendations?

  • Thanks OP!

  • Bought!

  • +1

Thanks just wanted to post on the internet I also acquired a set to feel part of this thread.

  • These arrived today for me.
Wow what good quality and excellent ankle support, can't believe I paid $100 for Skechers last year, these are far superior at 1/3 the price.
After I broke my ankle in some crappy shoes a few years ago my podiatrist told me I should only wear shoes with good Lateral stability (basically if you can grab the part between your heel and achilles and it's not firm, they are bad shoes) These shoes are not only comfortable, but have very very good lateral stability.

  • Mine were refunded.

    • OOS?

      • +1

        Cancelled

      • Cancelled and refunded. Reason being "out of stock or damaged".

  • Just received mine. These are a bit more on lighter blue side then the claimed darker blue… I normally wear black, so these will definitely add some colour into my life.

  • I just received it. Love it 😍. Thanks OP

  • Received it today. It looks good and seems to be comfortable. I'd prefer in black, but at price, I don't care

  • Eight days later and still waiting on them to be posted. I guess they don't bother replying to their emails either

  • I grow impatient whilst I wait for my shoes to get delivered.
