  This lock is cheap but it doesnt have a sense strike plate, so if you dont close it quick enough it still put out the lick mechanism and then you have to unlock and lock it again.

    to clarify for those not in the know, you can configure the auto lock based on a time. There is no function to automatically lock when the door is closed. Which would be a nice feature. Also to my knowledge you cant set it to be a deadlock (eg it can always be opened from the inside)

      That's an odd omission when the previous, and cheaper, touch locks could auto lock based on door position. Granted, the door position sensing wasn't perfect, but works well enough for the most part.

      I'm hoping for Home Assistant support to be able to lock based on a ZigBee door sensor.

  I have this and it has been excellent but mine broke a few weeks ago and Eufy are telling me it will be months before I can get a replacement!

    The finger print reader on it is super fast. I find the camera isn;t very good at picking up things. I may need to tune it a bit as I get a lot of door jam in my field of view. Whats your experience been with the Cam?

      Camera is okay but does occasionally not record video early enough. It would be good if camera could be angled a bit for better for my front stairs. I think video is slightly better than my old Eufy Video Doorbell.
