    Seems extremely meh.

That's dreadful for the price. ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 way better value at just over a grand.

When I buy a new one to replace my cheap Dell I'd like a minimum of 16 GB RAM

2.3Kg is pretty good for a 17" machine, and factor in the additional cost of a 16GB stick to replace the included 4GB stick (8GB of RAM isn't enough today).

  • I bought AMD U4700 15" a couple years back. Screen is really dull, lacks brightness and colour depth. Also mine has no USB C display or power charging ability.
For this money you can achieve better.

  • I had a i5 11th gen version of this laptop with 16gb of ram, the two USB ports on the right are only USB 2.0, there is no USB-C charging capability, the screen's max brightness is only 250 nits, the battery life was terrible, it wouldn't even last more than three hours unplugged with the screen at half brightness and only doing light office work.
