Been eyeing on a shifter for awhile.

TH8A the OG TM 'high end' shifter (RRP $399.95) was $239 yesterday and dropped to $209 today.

TH8S (RRP $159) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BRQFQVJX is the new entry level shifter which release at the end of this month also dropped to $119.

The difference between the two are build material and less mode (analog handbrake and sequential) on the TH8S. If you only ever need the H-pattern and are stuck with TM ecosystem then TH8S is a no brainer. Both use the same internals meaning they will last 'forever'.

Another absolute required upgrade IMO are the TLCM pedals (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07YFDL1JW) also at a very solid price of $280. Normally goes for ~$400 across most retailer.

    Which is the better buy, T248 for $399 or T300RS GT for $635?

      T300RS GT is the better wheel. But I'd recommend going for a Fanatec CSL Elite wheelbase instead. Can pick them up relatively cheap second hand as most of them were bought during lockdown & never used again.
