  • Ships to Sydney but not Tasmania, what?

    • Probably syd stock and can't be flown by plane as alcoholic.

      • Ah that makes sense…

  • +5

it works 60% of the time, everytime.

    • +1

      That doesn't make sense.

    • +2

      stings the nostrils

      • +1

        Quite pungant

  • -4

Overrated RRP and overrated product. Don't do it to yourself.

    • RRP yes, product disagree. Buying testers via the fragrance FB groups is the way to go - previously grabbed a 100ml for $200 there.

How does the real deal compare to Armaf's clone product CDN? At $59 (often on sale for $40 l) for 100ml it is pretty good.

I haven’t tried CDN personally, a lot of people say after the opening of CDN (which is apparently quite abrasive) it settles down into something ~80% of the way to Aventus. Definitely a decent value for money option.

          • +1

            @NedStark102: Spot on from @NedStark102.

CDN is 80 there unless you know Creed Aventus very well you wont notice a difference performance is also excellent on the clone.

Only ever bought tester sizes of Aventus so might need someone who has gone through multiple bottles to make further comments.

        • +3

I have both and will wear the cdn as a daily and the authentic one only for very special occasions, eg last one was a friends wedding.

  • +8

Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

    • +3

      it smells like pure gasoline.

      • That's more a Fahrenheit thing.

      • +3

        really stings the nostrils

    • +1

I'm more of a Blackbeards Delight guy

    • +2

      It's quite pungent.

This have anything to do wi the band? If so I imagine that it probably stinks..?

    • +1

Nope. It's actually a product from The Office (US). Creed Bratton's smell.

      • +2

        Mung beans?

        • +2

Very nutritious, but they smell like death.

          • +1

@josepet: Yep, can confirm. A mate left some in a bottle of water over time and made me smell it, it was putrid to say the least. Great way to clear out a room.

  • bottle is only half filled

    • don't let the bottle fool you

    • +1

      Or is it half empty?

  • FYI I would go in to a place where you can actually smell it before dropping this sort of coin on it. I personally wasn't impressed with it, no where near as much as I was with the Amouage stuff.

    • -1

Amouage smells way too spice market for my liking.
Nothing smells as good as Gris Dior IMO (and I’ve owned a lot of perfumes).

  • If you don't want to drop alot of coin on this, Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man is a harsher "clone" of this, can be purchased for about $60 at CW (used to be as low as $40). All subjective, though.
