Not the same model. This one comes with video doorbell

    • Different model, E8530 here vs E8520 in your link.

    • Which store mate?

      • Carseldine, QLD

      • Dont think its store specific, their system is scanning at this price.

I went to my local and their sign had it at $799 but it scanned in at $318.

  • Griffith NSW still has them in store, marked at $318, went through the register at the marked price.

  • Got it in store for $318 as well.

  • I got it online for delivery, not sure if that was the right choice as haven't received an invoice.

    • Its best to pick up.

By the time they go to pick your odrer for delivery a bunch of OzBargainers have run in Kamikaze style and left the shelves bare.

      • Haven't had the time for pickup lately was a good call though.

I'm up from Sydney for the week, lucky us

  • Can someone please share a pic of the receipt (with details smudged of course) with $318

  • if anyone has jbhifi price match, use advantage of $30 off deal to reduce to $288. I had successfully placed the order just now for $288.

    • i thought it can’t be used for a price match order.

      • I also thought same but luckily I checked it before bought and it worked

    • Didn’t honour it, told it was a pricing error at Bunnings :(

      • +1

I got it first few hours after this deal

    • i went ahead and bought it straight after price matching. the last few perks codes haven’t worked with price matches. it says it won’t work with negotiated prices in the t&cs so i can’t claim the difference, damn. lucky you!

  • Picked up 2 from Arundle 1 left Orange sticker expires tonight don't think they will scan at this price tomorrow could be wrong though.

  • I ordered click and collect. Money taken out of my credit card but still no invoice

        Check junk mail box
My one was in gmail junk box, which was already ready to be picked up

        • I ended up being refunded

        • Nothing in my spam or junk and I'm still yet to hear anything from them.

  • About two left Carina North QLD, Brisbane almost ozbargained.

  • Does anyone know whats the power source for this? How long would it last too?

    • It's internal battery that recharges via usb c.

Depending on how it is set up and how often it's trigerred between 3 to 6 months

      • Thank you

  • So this would be pointless if you have the video doorbell already?

And do you have to charge battery.?

    • Charge battery before use, theres a usb c port to charge it.

    • It’s also a deadbolt with pin code/fingerprint.

Might be worth selling the video doorbell? Reading the instructions I think the doorbell part of this needs to be used to link it all up.

      • I think the doorbell part of this needs to be used to link it all up.

Yes, can confirm that the doorbell is needed. The installation requires one to set up the doorbell before this video lock. This may not be the process if you already have a homebase though, maybe someone with a homebase can chip in.

        • I guess only accept homebase3. Can't seems to add device on hb2. So definitely need the chime to connect and setup and sd card for recording.

I've ordered one but not sure this would actually be useful for me as I realised I have a security screen door in front of the main door which I assume it can't mount to.

Does anyone know a way to mount it or is there another alternative? Or just return it

    • If you don't find an alternative way to install it, happy to buy it off you if your in Syd! Cheers

      • +1

If you still want it, you can contact me.

Actually I purchased a non-video version and also purchased the video smart lock from bunnings.
And I found that the video one comes with a door bell which I don't need ( I already got a Eufy smart doorbell..)

I just installed the non video one, it's pretty good.

          Hi PeppaCat (love the name)

Thanks heaps for reaching out. I'm literally coming out of bunnings right now. Sadly disappointed being at $510, confirmed and scans up at that price too. If ever your willing to sell it at close to previous price, that would be a HUGE help🙏

          • +1

@Defyer: I just enabled the private message, You can send me a message with your contact information.

            Thanks

    • After i buy, i was considering to install screen too. just use it as a door lock? disregard camera? Since its just 300+

    • This product is a smart deadlock first, video camera and the door bell are just features on the deadlock. You either need a lock or not?

I've mounted mine on the main door with a screen door in front. The camera's good enough to see through the screen in good light. The camera is great when the screen door is open, door bell works as advertised.

      • Thanks for sharing this. Are you able to share how the camera is at night with the screen door in front?

I assume the screen door doesn’t affect the censor to detect people?

        • +1

The screen door does interfere with human detection, probably due to limited field of view and screen mesh. But motion detection seems to still work.

At night the view is even more limited due to lighting, it'll still do its job once the screen is opened, but won't be as useful like a dedicated camera mounted elsewhere.

    • In the exact same situation.

    • Well I have put it on the main door but unfortunately the latch hole isn't a standard depth apparently so the deadbolt doesn't extend fully. Can't calibrate it and proceed with setup until I get a drill.
Whoever installed the original deadbolt did a pretty poor job.

  • Have to go in store. through the phone they say 1 stock, but i went in store (Dandenong, VIC), and saw many stock on shelf, with the price marked on shelf too. Storeperson said price is only until 13th July 2023. Managed to secure one when i go direct in store.

    • Tempted to drive down to dandy today

  • +2

Install it tonight, pretty easy swap with an existing deadbolt lock. No drilling required at all. The provided instruction was pretty clear and the final setup on the app was pretty easy and guides you through the process.

  • Price has not updated.. must still be available for this price in store

  • Just picked one up at Kent Town SA, scanned for $318, there is one left

  • Moorabin, Dandenong, Springvale and Notting Hill OOS.

    • You went to see in person?

      • I called the stores but went to Moorabin to pick up the last one.

  • Confirming I manage to get to Bunnings at Kawana (QLD) to honour the price over the phone for their last unit.
They had to check with management and said it was obviously an IT issue but they will honour it.
Just picked up from the store at $318

  • Hello everyone, I am having trouble connecting the bridge to internet. It says wifi connected and then says could not connect to internet. Called Eufy support who asked me to unblock ports. Called ISP and they suggested to get static ip to unblock ports. Still same issue. I have a google nest wifi. Can anyone with google nest wifi who has connected the eufy bridge please let me know if they had any issues?
