    You asked, we've listened

    Thank you :)

    • Very happy this deal's a winner for you!

Thanks for the recent request @moocher :)

Thanks for the Decaf deal coming, which is so good… Must buy!

    • You're most welcome, thank you for the terrific compliment @JinWu I'm wrapped to know how much you enjoy our Decaf!

  • This is the one I've been waiting for. Amazing for milk coffees!

    • Fantastic, glad it's been worth the wait for you @Jacko1235 :)

Sincerely appreciate your terrific vote of confidence, thank you so much!

  • Sadly for LB, Mrs C has taken a shine to soy milk based teas so I won’t be helping to uphold the market for SWP Decaf ( we still have an unopened bag in the freezer). But for anyone who’s undecided about it don’t hesitate, I think it’s the best decaf around with a nice robust flavour that suits milk really well. It’s not wimpy and weak like a lot of others.

    • Morning @Chazzozz shucks, I hope Mrs C rejoins Team Coffee again in the future, but if not we've loved having her enjoy our SWP Decaf so much!

Fantastic vote of confidence, thank you so much for all of your order and sharing such outstanding feedback, it really does mean a lot :)

Upvote for sticking with 1kg (also coffee is great)

Thanks for the upvote @Captain Hindsight (love the username) and terrific compliment too!

      • Thx make sure you watch the cartoon on YouTube.

        • Sounds good, will do :)

  • Great. Will give it a go. Any other special single origin coffee that you would recommend to an experienced coffee snob?

    • Hey @MrBillions that's great news, thank you so much for your order, it's an opportunity we won't take for granted!

Appreciate you reaching out to check. If you're after good extraction and flavour diversity then I believe all our option tick that box. However, if you're keep on enjoy something different, a bit out of left field, then I highly recommend checking out our Carbonic Maceration processed coffees :)

@LimeBlueCoffee - thanks for the deal!

I'm a bit of a nut about my coffee, running a Londinium R24 lever and a Niche Zero. Your Brazil São Paulo is my favourite single origin bar none. It's incredibly versatile, giving me plenty to enjoy as espresso, my wife a strong yet delicate long black, and my guests a sweet milky coffee that doesn't need sugar.

Moments to Memories is a great blend, but the BSP is the roast I keep coming back to time and time again.

    • Hi mate, how are you enjoying the Londinium? Tossing up between the Compressa or Pro 800 for next machine

      • R24 is an incredible machine. Even setting aside the ability to set your pre-infusion pressure (which is incredible), the simplicity of operation, quietness of the rotary pump, and quality of the shots is amazing.

Also, with the digital pre-infusion comes the digital temperature control - which you can't influence directly, but means that there's not a massive and super noisy pressure switch.

For quality, ability to adjust the pre-infusion pressure for flavour, and ease of use, I can't imagine anything better.

The other aspect to owning a Londinium is that you never have to send your machine away for repairs again. It's super easy to do maintenance & repairs on the machine. Reiss has a huge knowledgebase with videos, and is happy to jump on video calls to diagnose issues if needed - but most of the time he knows exactly what the problem is going to be and how to fix it. My last non-londinium machine would spend at least two weeks in the shop a year, and I'd have to drive an hour to get it to the repair centre.

Having said all that, I believe the Londinium Vectis is coming out either this week or early next week - I will most likely be swapping to that.

        • Thanks for taking the time to write that up! Swapping to Vectis for bench space?

          • @Junglegreen: Partially, also for the simplicity of operation. I've also heard that the taste in the cup is pretty amazing.

          • @Junglegreen: The Vectis was released overnight - unfortunately only around 20, and only US/120v versions in that run. Apparently the next run will have 240v versions.

            • @MyOtherOtter: Wow it's so thin, it looks like they've stretched the photo

              • @nubix: They spent a lot of time fabricating/forging custom parts for this machine, where the original Londinium had a lot of off-the-shelf commercial components.

The group is custom forged brass from a foundry in Italy, and it took Reiss a couple of years to get it to a point he was happy with it. He spent a lot of time working out the right balance of weight for the machine so you could use the lever effectively without tipping over such a small machine.

It's a real work of art, can't wait to get my hands on one.

    • Thanks mate you sold me on it

      • More than welcome man.

I moved to Melbourne recently and have started going around to the most popular roasteries. I've yet to find anything I like as much as the BSP - and that's including beans from Seven Seeds.

        • Tried Market Lane, Smallbatch, Pillar, Proud Mary, Fieldwork, Ona?

Recommend a trip to Caleré cafe too.

    • WOW what a truly exceptional vote on confidence @MyOtherOtter thank you sincerely. I'm absolutely thrilled to know how much you've been enjoying our fresh coffee. We'll keep working hard to stay in your good books!!!

I love the detail oriented coffee setup you have, sounds like every morning's a coffee party at your house :)

      • Ah well, I'm a nut, but I'm not, you know, crazy :)

I do the whole weighing each dose, funnel, WDT, etc.

But I generally don't bother timing or weighing the result - for that, you just need to look at the tiger stripes!

        • haha @MyOtherOtter your first sentence made me chuckle

Interesting approach, most people weight everything or nothing, it's unusual to have a combo system somewhere in the middle. That said it's always great to hear about someone finding a unique system to suit them. If the system works for you then I'd say stick with it. However, if you have a bit of extra time one morning, perhaps on a weekend, I'd recommend trying to go all out by weighing and timing a shot then pulling a tiger stripe sight shot to compare the two :)

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: @LimeBlueCoffee it's mostly for consistency of beans into the basket. While it does vary somewhat based on the usual factors, I know that with my basket, about 20.5 grams is about right so that it doesn't hit the shower screen, and doesn't sit so low that it gets muddy.

A couple of grams either way wouldn't matter much, but it's a Niche, so it's usually +/- 0.1 gram on either side.

After that, if it tastes great, I don't really mind that much.

But you're absolutely right - I've got an Acai that can do timed weighing, so I might as well give it a shot one morning when it isn't a madhouse around here.

  • Damnit already ordered from previous deal. Is this better for milk coffees?

    • This is easily their best beans for milk coffee 😋

    • No stress @Westpac assuming you're referring to our Moments to Memories blend, that one also works really well for milk based coffees. From a technical extraction perspective these two coffees are on par, the main difference for milk based coffees is a subjective personal flavour preference. Overall the flavours are in the same ball park, comparatively speaking you'll find more chocolate notes and sweetness with the Brazil and a bit more acidity and slightly more fruity flavour notes with Moments to Memories. There's no bad choices, just different choices, it comes down to your personal preference of the type of coffee you enjoy paired with milk. You can always freeze a bag or make the most of our unique delayed dispatch system so you don't miss out :)

  • Awesome, I've been waiting for this!!

    • Fantastic to hear @muddrex very happy to hear this deal's a winner for you :)

  • Can we freeze beans bag in the freezer?

    • +1

need to vaccum seal them first

    • Yes, I do it all the time. Works perfectly

      • Nice, never heard before. Definitely buy vaccum sealer and try it. Because i stock lots of coffee beans and they dont taste fresh and oily after sometime

    • Yeah, I don't think a vacuum sealer is necessary although it might help since you can remove more air. I just have some resealable coffee bags that I reuse and haven't noticed any bad taste. Noticeably better to me than beans left out for 2 months, though if you're going through them in a few weeks it might not be a big difference either way.

    • +1

Hey @zane I'm glad you reached out to check!

You 100% can freeze the beans in the bag we send them out in (appreciate the answer assist @neilsen64 ). To be on the extra safe side I'd recommend putting the sealed bag/s in a zip lock bag before putting them into the freezer, but this isn't a must. As mentioned by @bulldozer130 (thanks for your input) a vacuum sealer to pre-portion doses is a great path to the ultimate freezing experience, but you can still get terrific results without vacuum sealing compared to storing coffee at room temp :)

  • Ordered! Excited to give it a go.
Bought enough coffee to last me a year I think…

Will freeze it with my new ink bird vacuum sealer from Amazon prime deal…

    • Wonderful @MrBillions thank you so much once again, very happy to hear you're excited :)

WOW talk about planning ahead, looks like your next purchase will need to be a second freezer. The terrific results from freezing coffee is one of life's little gems, hope you have fun with your new vac sealer :)

  • FREE SHIPPING for orders over $69

    ;)

    • We aim to please, glad the free shipping option is a winner for you @harryhobbes :)

  • Thank you for the decaf deal!

    • You're most welcome @TheBean very pleased to see this deal's got us in your good books :)

  • Thank you, ordered Brazil São Paulo Single Origin. Love your coffee :)
Can I request some more fun facts on the front? The last 2 orders were about flamingos.

    • @NudeBinoculars thank you so much for placing another order with us, big smile on this side of the screen to know you love our coffee!

Hmm that's strange, we've release a few more fun facts since the flamingos one. If your orders weren't dispatched in close proximity a while back then this may be a label printing issue. If there was a label printing issue, my apologies. If you have the time and wouldn't mind sending a photo of each bag as a reply email to your order confirmations that's be much appreciated. Completely understand if you don't have the spare time to email the photos :)

      • Hi Tom, thanks for the quick reply. I don't have any of your coffee left and no photos :(

        • No stress, appreciate the comment feedback all the same :)

  • Thanks for the decaf Tom :)

    • Sure thing @downhillmtbr happy to hear this deal's a winner for you :)

  • Good to see you have gone back to 1kg bags. I stopped buying the last few months when you reduced them to 800gm.

I need my kg to be a deal.

    • When did they drop to 800gm

      • I noticed it the last month or so, went to order and saw the change to 800gm so went elsewhere. This deal will bring me back.

    • Hey @Stumars it's a shame you went walkabout for a little while as we only tested the new quantity increments on certain products, throughout the testing 500g and 1kg products were still available on our site. However, I understand we tend to be creatures of habit, so it can be an uphill battle to change buying behaviour when you enjoy a specific product in a specific size. We're extremally happy to welcome you back!

  • Thanks, first time trying out your beans. Been looking for something a bit less acidic.

    • Terrific, thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it's an opportunity we won't take for granted!

We hope you love our fresh coffee :)

  • Hi Tom
My last order got dispatched today.
Went to place a delayed order for August to notice there were no green options, no option to delay order for August?

My order been dispatched today, I had emailed recently and had a delayed for two weeks since I was away, definitely can't fault the service from Lime Blue Coffee. Any time I've had a query, Tom, is always very helpful, and I have had to delay another order in the past, I've also asked for a delayed dispatch order to be sent sooner as I ran out of coffee sooner than expected. Nothing was ever a problem and always super-helpful. For all these reasons I just keep coming back to Lime Blue Coffee

    • +1

Hey @Spending2Much appreciate you reaching out to check, good observation. We're planning some admin/tech updates being implemented at the start of August. These changes likely won't impact your Lime Blue experience, it just means we need to hold off opening up August dispatch dates for the moment to prevent a whole lot of orders coming through on the current system, but needing to be dispatched on the new system. If we can fast track the updates we'll open up August dispatch in July. If not, dates will become available for August right at the start of August. If you're keen on this deal, but an August dispatch, you could select the very last day in July (31) for dispatch via this deal and just freeze the coffee when it arrives until you need it :)

We do our best to be as flexible as we can, as we know life happens and as such sometimes customer dispatch schedules need to change; we're looking into some technology to make date changing even easier for customers. I'm absolutely wrapped to know how happy you are with us and I think it's fantastic that you're sticking with us, we won't take your patronage for granted!

  • I'd also like an August dispatch option. I'm currently in Malaysia - Lime Blue Colombia SO has been a big hit with my hosts! I'll need a new pack shortly after I get back to Aus

    • Hey @owduck appreciate the feedback!

Brings a big smile to this side of the screen to know our Colombia SO is a "big hit" with your hosts overseas!

As mentioned to @Spending2Much above, our August dispatch schedule isn't quite ready to launch. If you'd like to make the most of this deal and not wait for the August calendar, then you're welcome to place and order now for dispatch on the last day of July, that way if should hopefully arrive around the time of your return :)

      • Thanks Tom! The coffee here generally is not great (though I went to a nice cafe today serving, would you believe it, a Colombia natural SO!), and everyone is liking the smell of good beans being ground and brewed each morning at home.

I put in an order for the 31st :)

        • @owduck nice find on the Colombia Natural, as that type of coffee isn't ubiquitous, glad to hear we're keeping your holiday crew happy :)

Fantastic, thank you so much for placing another order with us, it's truly appreciated!

          Safe travels :)

  • Love this deal!! Instead of being completely out, I have 3kg of the great LB coffee! Any chance you will open up any later delay delivery options in august?? :)

    • Hey @dammit sounds like it was meant to be, got to love when the timing works out perfectly!

We'll open up the August dispatch schedule as soon as we can, it'll likely happen towards the end of July or right at the start of August. You could always make the most of this deal by placing an order for dispatch on the last day of July, it should arrive in early August and if that still too soon you could always freeze it to maintain freshness until you're ready to get stuck in.

I'm so glad you love this deal and think our fresh coffee is "great," absolute music to my ears :)

  • -2

Could I get a Decaf sample?

  • Thanks, found out from the email! Enjoyed the decaf and single origin something last time, ordered the brazil SO and decaf again :)

Bit devo there's no free shipping but I realise you guys have to turn a dollar and this is a class way above supermarket beans, so its worth paying for. Hope you guys are doing alright with the economic situation, all the best and thanks for the deals.

    • +1

Hey @GenghisGun glad you spotted the email and that you've been enjoying our coffee so much. Thank you for placing another terrific order with us, it really does mean so much!

I've got good news for you, for the moment we're still offering free shipping for $69 or more orders. Not sure how long we'll be able to keep this option, but we'll do our best to keep it…one of the delivery companies is trying to renege on our contracted terms, so fingers crossed they stop playing games and keep to their contracted word.

WOW what a thoughtful, complimentary notion. Sincerely appreciate your well wishes and wonderful message. Yes, I will admit business is tough, but I think it always is regardless of the macro economics. Everyday's a rollercoaster of good, not so good and in the middle. However, I think overall every aspect of the journey is positive. Even the aspects that feel quite negative in the moment can have a positive spin because when things don't go to plan and you find a solution, those solution are the building blocks of a better company tomorrow than it is today. I just do my best to focus on solutions rather than lingering on problems. I'm sure I don't always get things right, but I'll keep striving for perfection…an ongoing work in progress :)

      • That is a great attitude to have and I think the basis for a company that is likely to ride the ups and downs better than others. Thanks for what you do, I am sure you realise that your product makes everyone's day a little brighter once they take a sip.. Think of all the marriages that would break down if not for the cups of coffee that get the wheels spinning :D

        • +1

WOW @GenghisGun what a wonderfully thoughtful response to receive, thank you so much, your message brought a big smile to this side of the screen :)

I'm very happy our attitude resonates with you. Our approach has gotten us this far. As long as we remain on our toes not taking our customers for granted, and remain nimble, ensuring not to get too comfortable or complacent, hopefully we'll be around for many more years!

Oh no… I can only imagine what would happen if there was no coffee available in the world, even for a single day, there would be absolute chaos…

  • Anyone have any guidance dialing in the Brazil São Paulo Single Origin with a Breville Smart Grinder Pro for a Breville machine?

  • +1

    Hello kilo, my old friend
I've come to appreciate you again
    Because a vision softly creeping
Left its beans while I was sleeping
    Still remains
    Within the sound of grinders

    • That's a first @Gav we've never received a poem before about our coffee, life's full of surprises and new surprises brings a smile!

Thank you for taking the time to share in such a unique way, appreciate your effort :)

  • Upvoting as this is my fav coffee and it's back to 1kg. Hope August dispatch opens otherwise I might have to give this deal a miss as my Moments to Memories just arrived.

    • Hey @iheartbargains what a wonderful vote of confidence, love hearing that we're your "fav coffee," thank you so much for the continued support and upvote as well!

August won't open up for this deal, but it won't be too much longer before we open up the schedule for more future dispatch availability :)

  • Which blend would you recommend for pour over/cleaver dripper style (black coffee)

    • Hey @Cludo appreciate the check in, never hurts to ask!\

From an extraction perspective all of our options work well for Pour Over, so it really comes down to your personal flavour preference. Do you like heavier or lighter mouthfeel/body? Fruity, chocolate flavour notes or somewhere in the middle? High, low or middle acidity? High, low or middle sweetness? Once I have these answers I'll be in a better position to point you in the right direction :)

      • +1

I tend to enjoy the heavy mouthfeel, darker chocolate/nutty coffee, acidity not too bothered same with sweetness. Not too keen on the light fruity note beans I've tried in the past

        • +1

          Very helpful details @Cludo !

Our Brazil SO should be the winner for you. If your focus is flavour over caffeine, then I believe our SWP Decaf will suit your personal flavour preference a touch more than our Brazil SO :)

  • Just purchased a 1KG Brazil SO

    • Fantastic @Dr-Bargain thank you so much, your order is truly appreciated!

  • @LimeBlueCoffee Any issues freezing them in the bags they come in without repacking?

    • +3

      @SmashedMango great question!

Overall I don't think there's a notable issue, just a slight risk of a potential issue. However, to play it extra safe, put the sealed bag into a zip lock bag and then into your freezer. The only real risk with not using the zip lock bag is that the one-way valve may freeze in the open position and this could increase the chance of the coffee getting freezer burn. Given that the concentration of degassing usually happens while the coffee is in transit I don't think there's a huge risk of the valve freezing in the open position. In the event it did and the bag wasn't in a zip lock bag, then there's not a huge risk of freezer burn due to the low moisture content of roasted coffee. In case you don't know what freezer burn is by name, it's when a food product interacts with the freezer atmosphere through exposure, it results in discolouration and a change in flavour (basically tastes like the freezer) e.g. you may have experienced this is a bag of peas or a steak wasn't sealed properly before being put in the freezer. Freezer burn isn't hazardous, it just doesn't taste great. In a nutshell, if you have a zip lock bag then I'd say put the sealed coffee bag in it before freezing. If you don't have a zip lock bag, then I wouldn't stress too much, just know it does slightly increase the chances of the coffee getting freezer burn

  • Is there any possibility to have a dispatch in mid August? My last order from your team just arrived a few days ago and I won't be able to finish it in time for a 31/7 dispatch

    • +1

Hey @safwanc appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

We're not quite ready to launch our August dispatch availability yet, but soon enough we'll launch is, it'll likely happen in the next week or so :)

      • Thank you! My partner and I love your decaf beans :)

        • +1

Amazing to hear @safwanc I'm thrilled to know you're both enjoying our fresh coffee so much!

  • @LimeBlueCoffee FYI I just ordered 1kg of Brazil SO and price was $29.99, not the advertised $26.39. No biggie, but just a heads-up.

    • +1

Hey @lobedogg thank you so much for your order and mentioning the potential price discrepancy in such a courteous manner, it's sincerely appreciated!

Good news, I don't believe there's a discrepancy/error with the price. I believe you have just simply selected 1kg in 500g bags AKA 2x500g bags. For future reference on the product page under the packaging menu you can select between 500g and 1kg bags. If you're happy with a larger 1kg bag and still keen on the $26.39 per kg price, simply send a reply email to your order confirmation with the request and we'll be happy to alter the product selection/process a refund for the difference :)

      • ahh silly me. Thanks!

        • No stress, easy fixed and all sorted for you now :)

  • great deal on decaf, had it before and it's very good. i'm already working through a backlog of beans otherwise i'd buy a few kilo's, fingers crossed for another deal in a month or two

Hey @yupyup music to my ears to know how much you enjoy our Decaf and that this deal's a winner for you, thank you so much for sharing that terrific feedback!
