Good price. I usually use the standard 3ply. Would 4ply be waste? Never used before. Not sure if its worth it. Thanks

Buy a pack and test, you can also mod it to 3 ply if you don't like it :D

    • +3

3ply for me as well, I found 4ply too thick and not worth the extra

    • +3

4 ply is a waste. 3 ply is better value.

    • +4

It’s toilet paper. Take some off the roll and wipe.

    • +4

Its all waste at the end of the day…

    • +6

My testing has shown that extra 170 μm of material between my hand and my bum in the wiping action is well worth the modest additional cost.

      YMMV.

      • +2

Yes, but have you accounted skid surface per toilet paper volume ratio? This variable is not in favour of 4 ply.

$22.73 SS better value imo 3 ply and no inner packs
Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue (180 Sheets per Roll, 11x10cm), Pack of 48 Rolls (no Inner Packs) https://amzn.asia/d/6Xlb3f4

I was just wondering, what do you mean by no inner packs? TIA!

      • +4

The 48 packs are 48 loose rolls, compared to the 45 packs which are 9 x 5 packs, packaged within.

That means less plastic with the 48 packs though.

pre-covid often 50% off sales for toilet paper

during covid it was like gold
post covid* massively inflated price - 20% = deal
    I call BS

    • (yes covid is ongoing)
    • +2

Yeah I remember paying ~$12 for this a few times which was an average deal.

Since COVID went away and the east/west train stopped getting flooded/burnt/car v truck etc, Aldi finally has started stocking their Confidence brand in WA again so I've gone back to that. It's made by Quilton anyway and much cheaper. Happy to stick with their 3 ply, Amazon kept my poo under control through those horrible shortages but I can't justify the price difference now.

    • Haha. Good to hear!!!!

Made by Quilton, but they use the rough bark leftovers for the Aldi brand. JK. You may like it.

      • -1

Sure. Yet the difference is none.

  • Costco is cheaper?

    • Are you asking.

    • No

      • I tried to do some calculation after your comment, and found costco way cheaper

        • Which Costco product?

  • OOS

    • Temporarily oos but you still can put a backorder in

      • Backorder for your backside
