        Not worth an upvote?

  • +8

Finally on prime day I can afford the toilet tissue.

  • +23

Is there an easy way to separate the 4 ply into 2 ply. Asking for a friend.

    • +42

      Just use both sides.

    • +1

      Hello Friend!

    • +1

Yes, just leave your phone outside and then you will have enough time to separate them into 1 ply even. Let your friend know this.

    • Mr schrute has entered the chat

  • +1

Its not allowing purchasing. Something wrong or sold out?

    • You are trying to buy too many.

      • Cant even get 1

        • +1

Yeah ,you ma hve ordered witth last offer
          Seems they are restricting.

          • +1

@Wiser: I reckon that was the reason as they really couldn't explain it

  • +1

Does anyone actually refer to TP as toilet tissues?

    • +3

I do when we run out of tissues.

      • spoof rags?

        • +1

Well i sometimes run outta socks too.

  • Thanks got two!

  • +1

    Too thicxx

  • +5

Jeeze bought this at $19.26 two days ago getting delivered today.

Does anyone know if Amazon ever give back the difference over chat?

    • +2

      $2

      • +2

        Well, $3.87 to be a bit more accurate… ;)

    • +4

I have done it before. They usually give you credit.

      • +6

thanks i reached out and they gave back credit :)

        • how did you approach them? i tried doing it via chat saying the price dropped etc they refused to give me the different and i can't order the item anymore.. now hoping to return this and just get it at coles

          • @ghostkkz: just the online chat. they did say they made it a "one time exception", and because I was a Prime member. i do buy quite a bit from Amazon but not sure if any of this is taken into account or rather just luck.

I can see that you can purchase it though 10:52am AEST.

          • @ghostkkz: Same for me. Mine hasn't even shipped yet as I only placed the order yesterday. I couldn't cancel the existing order and they refused to match the price.

            • @ozioziozi: Yeap they refused for me too. The thing i cant work out is why they would rather spend money to process the return and money again to send a re-order to me instead of a store credit for the difference… stupid business model.

              • @FlyingMiffy: same here, they refused to refund the difference. when I threatened to cancel the order they said they'd gave me $10 promo voucher. I really don't understand, they could have just refund the difference ~$5, which is less than $10 promo or me returning it.

              • +1

@FlyingMiffy: It's because they know that most people won't bother doing that for a few dollars. Their prices change frequently and if they started reimbursing "easily" than they would be flooded with such requests all the time and that's why it's easier for them to just push back or occasionally do it for those that insist.

      • What's the Max window?

    • +2

Just spoke with chat and got the refund.

They cant explain why some ppl cant re purchase though 😒

    • Got mine refund just now. Bought on Friday, delivered yesterday.

They even said it was their mistake and refunded $4.30.

      • +2

They refused refunding me but when threatend to cancel the order they offered $10 promo voucher….

  • It's very thick. Do you feel that regular one is better?

  • +1

Just ordered last week and its now $2 cheaper
    oh, probably will stock more…..

    • you can't buy more

  • +1

Thanks, got 2, but believe it has been cheaper bust most likely it was pre covid

  • Paid $20.70 last time….. Was desperate times obviously

  • +1

Still available for whoever reported it as sold out

  • Finally! Everyone seems to be waking up from all these inflations nonsense.

Now if every other industries would follow suit, everything will be just hunky dory. 👏

  • +2

Why no deal on 3 ply?

    • Amazon haven't had stock of it in recent weeks. I've been checking / waiting. Only 3rd party has it ($34)

  • +11

But still not as cheap as the 3ply 48pack per roll. 3ply is more than enough for my bum.

  • Looks to be sold out now. Can't purchase.

    • +1

      I still can see it

      • I can see it and add to the cart but can't buy it.

  • +1

Thanks! Got 2 using S&S. Bargain!

  • damn… amazon wouldn't price match to my order from last week… oh well!

    • Lol thanks for trying. I was going to do the same :D

    • Try again, they just refunded mine from last week. Tell them you can purchase the current ones. Theres a problem.

  • Thanks just got 1. Looks like it will drop even more tomorrow and the day after. $10 the in 2 days S&S!

    • +1

Curious how you know that the price will drop further, can you share?

  • Can't purchase anymore :(

    • +2

      Why not? Works here fine.

      • Damn, maybe because I purchased 2 yesterday :(

        • Yes, that could be the reason.

    • Also not working for me.

And also purchased 2 over the weekend.

  • +2

Thanks BG! I think they've put a limit of 1 per customer now. It didn't let me to add 2

    • +1

Strange. Still shows limit 2 for me

    • +2

      No worries mate :)
If you have previously bought the toilet tissue from this deal, they may have capped it at 2 quantities per account

      • +2

Ah that explains it. Yep I did buy 1 from your previous post too :)

  • If its an early prime day deal, does that mean the price won't be cheaper on prime day?

    • -2

      $10 S&S comes soon. I just can’t hold it any longer…

  • +3

Thanks BG got 2, 1 for my place, 1 for my parents

  • +1

    Purchased.

Now to look for a plunger for when the kids block the toilet

  • How good this is compared to Costco Kirkland .
I believe Costco one works out to
Be 34 cents per 100 sheets

    • +1

I reckoned Costco's are better, bigger roll and stronger. Quilton are just too small.

      • totally agree, we've been buying it for the last 3 years. Only prob is the price jumped quite a bit - (to $32 bucks +) in store last time we purchased in May.
        It's currently 42.99 online/delivered price

  • I have two years worth of toilet paper due to recent deals. I'm going to pass.

    • +10

You will live past 2 years. Buy more.

      • -5

Are you sure he will live past 2 years?

    • Is that like a garage full of toilet paper? 😬

      • Nah, it's not that bad… I had a cupboard that I don't use much in my house and it's about 40% full to tp. Although if anyone were to accidentally open it, they'd probably think I had issues.

I did end up buying this deal too, so I definitely have enough for a while now.

        • +1

I did similar in 2020 and was fully stocked when the shortages hit. I didn't need to worry about where my next roll was coming from.

          • @Miss B: Exactly. Now I can eat at my local late night kebab shop without fear (until late 2025 at least).

  • +2

More toilet paper… why not :)

  • Why am I getting S&S for $16.20.

    • It’s bugged. Although it’s showing 17.1, it’s charging us 18.00.

      • I bought 2 and total $30.78

        • Yep, same here. Ordered 2, was charged $30.78.
Maybe clear everything from you cart and try again.

  • -2

Let's wait for the three ply. This 4 ply is still roughly around 40% more expensive than 3 ply when it is reduced.

  • "We are sorry. The item is not purchasable now. We suggest you remove it."

    • I purchased now a ok

      • Still not working for me, S&S

    • I got the same error when I tried to put in another order, after ordering 2.

I chuckled at the "we suggest you remove it" cause it sounds oddly intimidating. All that's missing is a "…capische?" at the end.

      • Hmmmm, I guess I will try again later tonight or tomorrow, cancelled the existing subscription that was in place from the last deal.
