My menulog orders take forever to deliver. Food is ready at the restaurant (I called them to check) but menulog status says “courier at restaurant” and that food is ready to pick however the restaurant says no one is there to pick up.
Same thing happened the last time. I suspect these drivers wait around as they get paid for it. Menulog support is absolutely useless. There’s no phone support and chat is sporadic.

That's possible, they get paid for waiting if the order took more than 15 minutes over the scheduled Pickup but i think it only amounts to about $10 per hour or something. Most delivery people wouldn't even try unless they came in late and the store still wasn't ready at 12 minutes so they will wait the extra 3 minutes to get the tiny bonus. I think this late fee comes out from the restaurant.
Sometimes it can actually benefit long term as it keeps restaurants prepping orders faster than scheduled instead of making delivery people wait 1-15minutes constantly. Not many sane delivery people would do it on purpose unless he was poor at maths and enjoys $10 per your salary. Because they would have to write they arrived as soon as they arrived to the store and you can't do it before reaching it
They just sit at the parking lot outside the restaurant waiting.
The past 2 orders I've had with them have taken more than 2 hours to arrive
