These are great. I used a few different chinese bluetooth buds at around the $50 mark for a few years. But after getting the pixel buds pro a year ago I will never look back. Great for taking phone calls, even in noisy areas.

    • Nice. Think I might get a pair now

    • Do yours pick up background noise when on a call? Sometimes when I pick up a call on the train the person on the other end of the line will hear the train voiceover or sometimes not hear me when I speak.

I'm not sure if it's a setting I'm missing or just my buds.

      • Don't take too many calls on the train. I took a call at an airport cafe recently with a lot of background noise, the person I was calling said they could hear me very clearly.

Dont be that person who does phone calls on the train, the rest of us prefer to suffer our public transport in peace.

        • I'm the socially awkward guy that picks up an unsuspecting call from my partner and tries to speak as quietly as I can as to try and not draw attention in public lol

Thank you :) God it's insufferable when someone is loudly talking on the phone on the train or bus

    • Second this. I feel like they've gotten better with the most recent software update as people can hear me really well even when I'm at the train station.

    Compared to Bose?

Bose makes them look silly. I use the Bose QCII daily and the Google Pixel Buds Pro are nowhere near them in terms of ANC, sound quality, bass, clarity etc. Only thing they are better at is microphone quality.

it's really annoying when you loose one you can't pair to a new device anymore tho

    Worth between $100-$150 imo.

I don't particularly prefer them over my $100 Samsung Buds + besides the fact it has noise Cancelling. The Samsung's fit better and comfier, case is better shape and easier to open, and changing volume is easier by tapping rather than sliding finger across the buds.

  • same price on google store but if you have unidays its an extra 10% off

    • Showing as $299 for me?

      • oh sorry thought the sale was still on for google store. That was the price last week

  • For that price you could spend another $50 and get the Sony XM4 or Sennheiser TMW3, these Google Pixel Buds Pro aren't that great in my opinion.

  • XM4 or these?

XM4 seems to be too big in size

    • Nice i'm happy you said XM4 and not XM5. As the ones before XM5 are better and look better

If you don't care about sound quality, bass, clarity, noise cancelling, get these.

If you are getting them purely for comfort and mic quality, get these. Comfort is subjective though, I found these were impossible to stay in my ears
