This deal is still valid: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/74972 which has this brush at $24.95 after cashback.

    Sorry, no deal.

    • well there ya go, this is redundant then.

  • I've never owned one, are Oral-B electric toothbrushes significantly different or better than the $15 toothbrushes sold in Coles? I know this one is rechargeable, but that's not a huge benefit to me. I use NiMh batteries anyway, and it's not hard to change the batteries out when they are flat. Are these toothbrushes any better at cleaning teeth?

      same same but different.

Why did you neg? No idea what relevance your comment has to a neg.

        • +1

no deal. so its a neg, oh and ozbargainers will neg at anything, so might as well do as the romans do in rome ;)

and my comment is relevent to the person above. all toothbrushes are the same (ie. brush your teeth), its whether you find the parts/useful life worth the extra money.

        • So they can have different parts and different useful life? So not the same same I guess :)

        • hence the but different at the end.

both brush your teeth (same same), but neither will use the either brand brush/charger/quality (but different)

I picked up a couple of these in a previous sale. I can't comment on how they compare to the $15 electric brushes but there is definitely a huge difference compared to a regular toothbrush. It honestly feels like I've just gone to the dentist after using it. Also, the charger is handy as it doubles as a stand for the toothbrush. And the replacement heads are relatively cheap when on sale ($3-4/head).

I asked a dentist once his opinion on this matter, but I couldn't understand him because he wouldn't show me his face

    • Lulz =)

  • Pro powertool, camera, sporting gear maybe but toothbrush? Is it for politicians & car salesmen?

Eh? I think you have mind-altering drugs in your magic pudding.

  • woolworths sold them for $49 a while back

    • +1

that's right, a while back. Not really relevant to this deal.

  • It's $54 on the shaver shop website so with cash back it's 24 so no deal.

  • Not a bargain

  • You disappointed me, Thought it was $39.96-$30 cashback = $10

    • +1

Really? You clicked on a deal that had 2 positive and 2 negative votes expecting to find a $100 RRP toothbrush for $10? Was never going to be, was it :)

      • In previous Woolies deal, 1 OBer reported buying this for $10 through price matching at GG & discounts. I bought at $14.95 ($49.95-10% EDR discount special that week - $30 cashback). Others received a $10 EDR discount, bringing the price under $10.
So $10 price has been possible previously.

        • As posted by some at end of previous Woolies thread for this brush, Oral-B sometimes give you $50 back! http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71350

        • Checked my CashBack - got $50 instead of $30!!!
So was given $4.50 & free toothbrush after postage cost with last deal!

    • So did I. Only clicked to see why it was so "cheap". I don't even need a new toothbrush.

You can't see the negs until you click through anyway.

      • +1

He meant negs for the listing itself (which you can see at the top of the page), not negs for comments (which you have to "click through" for).

        • +1

          thanks

        • +1

OK, I was referring to the new deals listed on the right hand side of the home page. You can't see any negs there until you actually check out the deal, only how many positives.

        • Okay. I'm on mobile site, where both positives and negatives for new deals are shown without having to click on the deal. :)
