ASUS ROG 3m CAT7 Ethernet Cable - $9 + Delivery ($0 SYD C&C/ mVIP) @ Mwave

130

Not the cheapest CAT7 cable out there, but well down on the $49 RRP and ROG branded for those that are chasing that particular theme.

I'm assuming pickup will be available from their Lidcombe store.

  • these were the same price at PCCG a while ago and I got three of them for my PC's.

they look good and seem to be well built,

  • Thanks, bought a few for the novelty.

The MicroSD card says sold out when you reach the checkout, might be worth removing that from your post.

I also got some https://www.mwave.com.au/product/edimax-05m-10gbe-shielded-c… while I was at it.

Adding this item to the cart increased the postage by about $4, so it'd only be worth it if you got a few of them.

The money making snake oil of marketing to “gamers”.

    • Pfft casual

    • I was nearly done writing a supportive message about the parts:value ratio on this item(as someone who had made numerous audio and power cables), then after doing some online searching regarding the technical specs, there weren't any - or at least not any that came close to being justifiable as "specifications".

So, even though this item has had all positive reviews from the sites I scanned through(whilst looking for tech specs), it certainly is a bit of a concern that ASUS-ROG decided to leave out a page worth of information whilst filling it up with basic shit that they'd already emphasized on the general/advertisement page.

Well those will pair nicely with that $1000 ROG router from the other day. Although I'd rather pay the RRP of $49 each so I can get the full experience. Less lube if you please, Mr. Asus.

  • The insides no different compared to generic ones but i got still one from amazon when it was 12$ on there purely because it looked cool.

What can I say I like edgy gamer stuff and I probably should be stripped of my ozb licence.

    • Get Cat8 cables, more cool.

      • Oh wow why not go up Cat100000000000000000 cable?

    • Nothing wrong with that mate, many people buy many things because of a brand/design/style.

Agree with others they they should still have made up/published some data.

  • another option for those with ebay plus that might be cheaper depending on mwave shipping cost is this for $20 delivered with express delivery after using a $5 off ebay plus coupon

  • Delivery kills this deal on what is an already overpriced CAT7 cable
