I can recommend these. Especially for gaming thanks to the low latency game mode. They’re excellent paired with the Steam Deck.

Quick update: I had to install the app to then bind the game mode option to the right bud because it defaults to no game mode whenever you put them in the case.

If anyone knows how to keep it on permanently, please let me know.

    • How are they for voice calls?

      • +1

To be honest I got them for gaming and music so never tried calls.

      • Been using my pair for a couple months, in the several dozen phone calls I've had with them, not a single person has complained about the mic quality, nor have I had any trouble hearing anyone.

The noise cancellation isn't the greatest, but in my opinion it's good enough for the price point.

Amazing value for the price. Almost on par with airport pro 2

  • Do these let in voice and gym music like the airpod pros do with latest firmware?

    • +2

Sounds like they do - check this review at 3:54

    • huh ??

      • The firmware update at the beginning of this year ruined the noise cancelling on my airpods. Yes it still drowns out background noise but the update purposely raised human voice - I can hear people talk a few bays away in the office and also hear the stupid music my gym plays over mine unless I jack up the volume too high. I haven't been near a crying baby but can't imagine what that would be like for someone on public transport/airplane.

Up until that firmware update my noise cancelling pretty much blocked everything out I couldn't hear someone speak if they came up to my face, it was good.

    • The passthrough still makes it feel like your ears are blocked (like you have a really bad cold).

  • purchased, thanks OP!

Has anyone tried these with a PS5? Does it connect and would it use the microphone from the earbud?

  • Now they have arrived I can say they are "OK" and not the worst by far, but the soundpeats pro 3 HS shits all over these in sound quality (even after fiddling in the app) - and could be had last week for $45 -. if you don't need extended battery over 3 hours per listen and don't need a noise cancelling mode, I'd recommend the soundpeats more especially at the price point. As it goes, I may use these as my primaries for work calls, so long as the battery life is as promised… 1st work call coming up soon.

  • The Mics are SHIT- nobody can hear me unless I literally shout. Not impressed… These units aren't good, I've definitely seen worse at the price point , but I'll be returning.

    • I watched about 3 youtube reviews before purchasing and the mics seemed like they were very good.

      Here's a couple:

      • I did just spot on the app I'm on an older firwmare, so I'll try that update first

        • What version?

          • @Rakddon: They were on 0.4.1 (Earfu app on iphone) upgraded to 0.4.9.
I've not had a voice call with them to test yet, really find them unuseable in a "working" environment as they plug your ears too much, but I would likely find them good for noise cancelling on a plane for instance. Not great for video conferencing or where you need to hear those around you… good for isolation only.

I did a "test call" and could hear myself to an acceptable quality on the update, however talking with these bunging your ears is most unpleasant (even on the ambient sound mode) it feels horrible.

Bought these during Prime Day. Noise cancelling on a plane is pretty good for the price point. Blocks out the majority of engine noise

How much was it for prime day?

  • These earbuds are now on sale for anybody at the price that was previous only for Amazon Prime members. I just picked up a pair. A bargain for $81. Delivery only 2 days.
