These HJ chips are probably my top two favourite chips out of the large chains. I loved the change to the thick cut ones they have now

thick cut chips have less surface area per kg of chips ….. so you eat less fat per serving of chips vs shoe string / McDonlads type fries.
So it would actually lower the KJ of a combo with chips. HJ looking after it's customers health.Also uses less soil so saves them money on oil, win win, they use less oil and save money, customers get healthier meal …..

@garage sale: I would think the potatoes would use the same amount of soil regardless of whether they're cut thin or thick.
Has something changed recently? Or are they still the nice, semi-thick, between maccas's shoestring and grill'd's pub-thick cut?
The ones at grill'd are the worst - just give me a whole potato, why bother cutting and boiling it in oil, so it's neither crispy, nor healthy.
Cornershop/Milkbar chips wrapped in paper are the best followed by HJ and Opportos. I'm in the minority here but KFC chips are the worst for me.
I love the mexi chips from salsas their great with the ranch sauce

Their offers are often gimmicks not real discount and their burgers too minuscule.

bigger problem is lack of drink in deals …. they want to get you buy or drink, unless you bring your own, get water from bathroom, or can eat burgers and chips with nothing to wash it down …..
tend to go with maccas if they have meal combo on special as it includes drink, or use receipt from KFC and get a free drink if you spend more then $4.95.

I got this the other day and price for adding small drink was $3.20 each, so $6.40 extra for two people, almost doubling the deal, so just grabbed drinks elsewhere.

I ate the 2 burgers in one go but can't do the 2 chips. Why are their chips sooo salty or is it just my local store?
I think it comes down to the persons who cook them. Some has vigorous shakes of the seasonings will make the chips super salty.
Hungry Jacks chips are definitely on the salty side.

All three said the same thing, yet I could not understand what they ment:

The third person I met in real life: "they said why should I let you join our company, i mean your not family, however if you have some inside value, keep it to your self the worlds cutthroat and not only do I owe you nothing, my company is a investment and if I opened the door to everyone what do you think would happen"
They all said th same thing, and I do not disagree with them infact somethings should not be known.

What really sucks about HJs now is that you cant add angry onions to any burger in the app anymore. But you can at the counter. They use to not allow you for the cheap burgers through the app but now you cant do it to any!
I recommend adding a patty and cheese to both burgers for best taste and value.
