Eh they've got a LOT of stock atm. Going to wait till they do something better than 10% off sale items.

    • I think they do 20%, but hasn't happened for a while. https://uptherestore.com/products/new-balance-m1906rca-ss23 only 2 sizes left

They ran a 25% off sale before their move, after the move they just dropped the price on everything 25%. There's a couple shoes I've been watching for a while and there's been little movement in stock.

is there a way to get price drop notification on their site or I just have to check every single day?

I normally just buy 3-4 pairs that I really want, then drop a couple grand when they have sales+

        • I bought the ones I linked and they had most sizes. Now it's just 7.5 and 11 left, and the other Protection Pack has fewer sizes as well.

  • Sorry, I don’t want to nag you, but you have a very different taste in shoes looking at the picture before ticking the link. What sort of fabric is that on the shoe? Nothing for the outback that’s for sure.

    • I wear all sorts of shoes. Here are some OzB approved ones: about 50 pairs of Ultraboosts, some modern Asics runners, about a dozen RM Williams chelsea boots. Docs, Timbs, Clarks Desert Boots. Hoka atheltics shoes. Dunlop Volleys.

These aren't even that weird, my high fashion designer shoes can get a bit crazy. Or even collabs.

      • No worries. I have some collabs as well.

They look so nice. I was just wondering, are this any good for flat feet? New Balance have good reputation as good shoes for stability and support.

Depends it it's the modern NBs that are actually athletic shoes, or re-issues like the 550 that @Jimothy Wongingtons is obsessed with. 550s are casual shoes and not that comfortable. I have 2002r and they're better. I got these: https://uptherestore.com/products/new-balance-m2002rid?_pos=… but in a darker colour and they're pretty good stability wise

I was literally looking at the sea salt blue 550s last night and thought man I should do a post and tag my boy @rosebank

        • I already have blue/black and monochrome tan suede ones. I'm not getting anymore 550s. I also have 1 pair of 650s

I feel the fresh foam 1080 would be good for flat feet - so damn cushioned!
