Smarty Pear Leo's Loo Too Automatic Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box $799 + $9.99 Delivery Only @ JB Hi-Fi

100

This smart litter box is currently $200 off and is almost the cheapest I've seen for the Loo Too - Pet Circle was beating this offer by $1 but that price seems to have disappeared this evening. EDIT: Nevermind, that's for the original version (the 'Loo' not the 'Loo Too')

Looking at reviews it's probably the best smart litter box you can get unless you're lucky enough to buy an imported Litter Robot 4, but I'll reserve judgement until I get mine delivered.

Delivery by August 3 at the time of posting.

This would scare the shit out of my cat.

    • It doesn't empty or do anything when your cat is in or near it. It has sensors to stop that from happening. You can also set timers that will delay the emptying until a specified time after the cat has used it.

Agreed. It's the best on the market. I paid $865 in a JB deal. Well worth the money. Cats love it. They're fascinated by the whole ting. No smells. No dramas. Lasts about 5 days for two medium size cats before needing emptying.

The first one we got had a few issues, however the service team are very helpful and were super willing to help resolve any issues. From what I understand there's a few dodgy motherboards (poor soldering) which can cause the motor to spin backwards randomly. You've got the option to return what you've got, or they'll send you the piece to replace it. But I was assured there were only a few of these in circulation.

Note -You must use clumping style bentonite.

  • WTF?! LOL ROFL(at that pricey price, am acting like a cat now). Sheesh.

How is this better than a petkit, petree or pet marvel.

I've owner both a petkit and petree and been very happy with both.

  • +2

Husband purchased one. Two cats would use it and one wouldn't.
So it was a complete waste of money for us.
    Even weighed our cats.

So you were able to monitor the outputs of 2 of your cats, with less cleaning and hassle and you say it was a complete waste of money?

      • More cleaning as one cat would only use the floor, and was only going once a day and barely eating and drinking due to it.
One cat loved it and would just climb inside and come straight out as he loved watching it work. He would also sit on top of it.

I really wish there was a way to test this I have a sneaky feeling my cat would just refuse to use it..

I have a similar one and my cats didn't really do anything except sniff it until I picked up one and put them in it and once they felt the litter inside they were sold.

Love this, and wish I bought it earlier! My recommendation is to keep it off for a while so they get used to using it.

    2 cats, 1 cub?

    • +1

      No issue.

      • dont you mean , "No Tissue" ? ;P

I was eying this off, but picked up a Petkit X for $457 from Costco last Friday. 1 cat took to it next day, other cat is warming up to it.
To easy to setup and so far seems to do what it says on the tin.

  • It looks the same with this one on Amazon https://amzn.asia/d/4zOfGlE. 3.5 stars. The Amazon one is selling around $300 in China

    • Currently unavailable. :l

  • Who has that money for a cat shitter?

1st rule of cats applies anyways: It will prefer the box this came in, and hte human will be left with the fancy shitter taking up space in the garage along other questionable purchases…

Get a simple tray, put compressed wood pellets in it (if youre clever you'll find an equestian supply company and buy horse bedding material (its the same thing) for much cheaper than anywhere else…cat pees its turns to dust, leaving remaining pellets, sift out and keep solid pellets…cheap as, no smell and you can bin/compost it

  • Anyone recommend a reasonable litter brand to go with this? Does the ALDI one work alright?

  • Missed this 😞 Does anyone have a catlink smart litter box?
