4 cups of coffee in every serve, 1000% daily B12, etc etc.

Just one step short of roids

Yeah bro my grandma has a few coffees a day and some vitamin pills, shes massive now.

        • There is a difference between 4 cups of coffee in one hit, x10 daily B12 and "a couple cups of coffee and some vitamins". Not saying anyone will become massive from this like from roids, saying that health impact is not very good. But then - the fact that pre-workouts are bad for you is as plain as the nose on your face…

Not sure is that great. I feel I work out the same with or without it.
Also the tingling feeling is because if the B3. You get the same if you take Niacin (b3) on its own but b3 is not meant to be for pre workout

Actually the 3200mg of Beta Alanine would be the main reason for the tingles…. and this pre-workout is great

      • Oh ok. I take b3 and get more of the tingles. Then looked up the ingredients and thought that was it.
It was recommended by my cousin but i don’t feel like it makes the difference except for the tingles in my fingers after 20 mins of taking it.

      • Absolute garbage in a PWO, that's how you know it's a crap product.
It has to be taken daily for weeks to start having an affect, furthermore It's better in split doses.

These companies literally put it in its full dose in a pre-workout so you feel something

You will never find a great pre-workout that contains BA.

Another red flag is a company that has 10+ flavors, flavoring actually cost more than most the ingredients alltogether sometimes. So when a company spending more on flavoring, and less on the actual product, it's a huge red flag.

        • So what would you recommend? Most pre-workouts have beta alanine cause people will drink it most days anyway so they will get their daily dose of it. Stupid people think their preworkout is strong when they feel the tingles as well so that's another reason companies chuck it in

        • Bold statements I think you should re-read the articles and studies you've read on BA…. but lets not focus on one ingredient.

So please tell me what is a great pre workout?
Ignition switch, seventh gear ,Total war, gorilla mode and magic pre are all great pre-workouts

  • English walnut is probably the closest you’ll get to DMHA. Actually a pretty decent pre. Thanks for the share.

    • Yeah, ingredients are good.

Though with the excessive caffeine per full serve, the rest becomes under-dosed for me at optimal levels.

Eg. I'm good with Caf ~250mg - which then means only getting 2/3 of the other stuff.

English Walnut isn't half as good as 2-amino / Octodrine, I don't even really feel/notice it over and above caffeine.

[I still have pre's with 2-amino in them & use every now and then]
