    This or roborock?

    • -1

This if you have just hard floors and no carpets.

      • Have not seen one good review of this, whereas I can tell you from experience that Roborock is… rock solid, pardon the pun. Yes, a little more expensive but you get what you pay for with these.

I have both roborock and this. Roborock is good for vacuuming and Narwal is for mop cleaning. Roborock's mop cleaning is just a wet mop dragging around. While narwal actually swipe mop, clean itself every swipe and dry itself after finishing it's task. But narwal's vacuuming is just sad compare to Roborock. So that's why I got both and my hard floor is always spotless.

    • Roborock. Don’t waste your money on any other brand.

"but feel like it’s worth a try at this price!"

It's a big gamble to spend $700 on a worth a try device hahahaha

Beauty of our OzB community, we'll have some great reviews incoming shortly!

Yeah, will just take it back and get a full refund if I'm not completely happy with it!

799.98 = $800, so just a bit more of a risk. But as others have said Costco appears to be lower risk.

Very very very old model, not recommanded

  • $799.98 is still alot of $, I wont risk it for unknown quality robot

I got this for 3 years still going well
it was the very best back then

    Now it's got 3rd generation

  • The vacuum wars review on this was quite good. It was beaten out by the roborock but the narwal is far cheaper at this price.

Had this exact machine for about 10 months after we swapped a faulty lower end model with gearbite.

    Positives
    - Mopping feature is excellent with the spinning discs - most others just drag their arse around, which the last one did and was pretty useless (we have bamboo floors).
    - App is easy to use and mapping is very accurate
    - Vac works very well on the hard floors (tiles & Bamboo)
    - different seller specific -Gearbite customer service has been excellent

    Negatives
    - Vac on carpet isn't great. There isn't a roller brush, so relies on suction only. If its full it will sometimes dump a "hair nugget" on the carpet. Doesn't help we have 2 x Border Collies and 2 x Cats.
_ has been sent back to Gearbite a couple of times (currently on its way back after repair). Was an issue with getting back to base or this last time it was erroring out when going past the base and would stop the clean.

Overall, would we buy this one again? No - unless we had only hard floors.

  • first generation. not worth for the money. same model in China may be down to $300 sometimes. $799 is not bargain for this one. Do not recommend.

  • I have this model more than 1 year now, does an excellent job at mopping.

  • T20 is available in China. Just fyi.
