    • How to you find the noise?

      • It's very quiet in 'low' mode and I think it works better in that mode anyway.
Often leave it on all night in low in one of the bedrooms. Keeps the humidity down to just over 40% and the room gets up to around 18C.
The other room next door is almost identical and is usually around 65% humidity and around 15C during the night.

In the morning, I might put it on High mode for a couple of hours if there is a lot of condensation in other the room that wasn't using it. Sounds about the same as a small fan heater in high mode.

I'll just ordered second one on the afterpay sale on ebay (around $370)
Bunnings with Powerpass has it for a good price.
The ausclimate store currently dropped the price by $100 too for a sale.

  • Are you an authorised reseller? Need to check if this purchase would be eligible for the 4 year warranty through Ionmax. Thanks!

  • These seem very expensive

    • Ausclimate is also a brilliant brand that manufacture great purifiers and dehumidifiers, no question. We feel the Ionmax range represents excellent value, particularly at these sale prices however - noting that they have a significantly larger tank capacity vs. the Ausclimate 10L model mentioned above.

Comparing like for like, the Ausclimate models come with a 2 year warranty, vs. the now 4 year warranty offered by Ionmax.
The Ausclimate 50L dehumidifier sells for approx. $730, whereas the Ionmax ION650 model we currently have on sale is priced at $519.

These units might seem pricey on first glace, though actually represent fantastic value given their large tank capacity (and that they are therefore designed to service larger spaces vs the Ausclimate alternative presented above).

Hopefully this helps to clarify, and feel free to let us know if you have any further queries!

  • Hey @eliteelectronics, I tried adding the ION632 to cart but it shows $389 as opposed to $335 in your description.
