Mine was $25. (Not a Dyson).

    • I’m amazed how much it’s gone up

We bought a blue gold gilded supersonic for 499, and it includes all the accessories

Now some of the SuperSonics don’t even have attachments included…

  • I bought my wife hair dryer for $49 from Shaver Shop, and it does the same thing, dry her hair 😅

Your wife does not know what she’s missing.

By having the 49 bucks hair dryer or by marrying him?

        • By marrying a cheapskate. baahahhah

          • @ca6leguy: says the guy who are on OzBargain, bwahahaha. ironic isn't it?

            • @Parr8: Says the guy on ozbargain not on CheapCheapLah. Bhahahaha.

  • Was skeptical at first but would not go back to a cheap hair dryer after owning a dyson for a few years now.

      what's so great about it?

      • For me, the hairdryer is ionic, which means it shoots out a bunch of negatively charged ions on your hair which is supposed to reduce heat damage to hair and scalp, lock in moisture levels, and leave behind a smooth and soft finish. Most hairdryers come with 2 attachments. This comes with 5 and they're easy to use. There are professional hairdryers at $200-400, but the Dyson has a small form factor and design that appeals to people like me. You can try it and return risk free within 45 days via Dyson direct. It's one of those one time investment purchases. Just my 2 cents.

  • I have been using a $15 hair dryer that I bought from Big W for 5 years, and it is still working well.

For those who wonder if the cheaper Laifen Retro, made for the Aussie market with a local plug, is worth it - well, just bought it last week and couldn't be happier. We were after a small-ish, light hairdryer but I couldn't justify the $500+ price tag. The hairdryer comes with a 2 year warranty and can be returned within 30 days for any reason. The only gripe for some might be the short-ish power cable at 1.8m.

I did plenty of research on that hairdryer too. The only thing that deterred me was that pretty much every detailed review was sponsored. That made me feel iffy so I didn't go that route. But I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks for sharing.

This is why I decided to share my experience. I couldn't find much on it either. Btw, I wish I was sponosred ;-) Good luck!
