Just an FYI - same unit as the Heymix branded one

    • +1

      is it good however?

      • +6

I had a 3 pack of 25w ones. I'm down to one left working.

        • Oof. I just got the 65W Heymix one recently for $27, fingers crossed…

      • +2

Just sharing. I have the heymix branded one since August of 2022. Used all the time as my Laptop travel adaptor so the stock brick stays at my desk. Hasn't skipped a beat yet.

    • the molding is different. i think you are incorrect

    • +3

yeah both are listed with the same model number ‎GS-W65A0927

    • You a Heymix one. Thanks for sharing.

  • +7

I see what you did there Heymix

  • +29

Classy rebrand. When I think of elegance and high tech, I think ERUNTO.

    • +10

When you think of garbage, think of hakeem!

      • +3

I'm literally wearing a Soul Glo shirt right now.

      • +1

        Hahahaha brilliant

    • +2

You made me choke on my dinner, damn you! :)

  • +2

Got one of these on Prime day but I think I paid more.

Does the job for my laptop.

    • +1

I have a cheapie 65w for phone and occasional Lappy charging, no issues.

  • +1

For charger and accessories, Belkin is always my go to brand. just find the cheapest and try with JB online chat to price match and pay with GC, very decent price with top notch quality and AU warranty compared to those rebrands….
Anker is my 2nd option, like the recent amazon deal - dual 33w charger.

  • How is the quality?

    • +3

I'm very happy with it, been using the first one since March (Lightning Deal $24.64) and bought the second one on Prime Day (Lightning Deal $22.16). No complaints (MacBook Pro Laptop and Samsung Galaxy Phone). Takes less than 1 hour for a full charge of my phone.

    • +4

How long is a piece of string?

There are way too many unknowns to make a statement regarding quality.

Most reviews are "I plugged it in and it charged." There's no indication of longevity, quality of components used, design or brand history.

    • As good as the world famous erunto brand gets.

  • +10

    Is it a genuine Erunto?

I’ve been burned before (by my flaming Heymix charger)…

    • +1

Agreed uncle Rico. U wanna make sure this is real Erunto

    • +7

Sir, I think you'll find the Erupto is a flamin' good deal.

      • +6

I know a genuine Sorny when I see one!

        • +4

          I'm a panaphonics man myself

        • Why don't you like Arnker ?

  • Thanks OP

  • +2

Looking for a toasty solution - hope this is it

  • +1

Is this a scam? A cursory search for "ERUNTO" returns nothing but the amazon listing and this exact page. No company exists with that name that I can see.

    • +11

If u can’t trust Erunto, who can you trust?!

      • Heymix?

        /ducks

    • +2

This is a generic china product, the brand doesn't matter. The model number reveals similar looking products under a whole bunch of brands

    • +1

It’s a brand name of the manufacturer listed on the Amazon listing http://www.good-she.com/web/index.php/product/index/g/e/id/2…

      • thank you

    • +4

Nah, this is a normal strategy.

      • Entity picks a random name
      • orders from an OEM
      • ships to Amazon for sale

You'd get a "erunto" charger but there's no guarantee of quality or brand history.

    GaN Charger

    • Why is GaN important?

      • It's not. I don't want a GaN Charger.

        • +1

What’s the disadvantage with GaN in your case?

          • +1

@jwh: Smaller things usually run hotter- less space for heat dissipation. Not sure if this is true for GaN or not but the two chargers I have owned of that tech have definitely run on the warmer side of things (one was so warm I tossed it).

  • +1

What is the 8% coupon code? I am getting a couple of these

  • +4

Really dubious reviews on Amazon. Tempted but no thanks.

  • +4

Mine ended up being faulty and left my laptop powerless in Japan on holiday. Avoid.

    • What replacement did you buy in jpn

      • Work for a global company so ended up dropping into the office and borrowing an Apple power brick while I was there (unplanned "extra stops"!). Japan colleagues were all using Ankers for travel.

  • Damn one of the reviews says it doesn't support 45w charging on a s23 which is a shame otherwise I would have jumped on it.

  • +1

Waiting for a 100W one to power an ultrabook.

  • +3

The problem with this design is the orientation. Despite being a small charger overall, its width when plugged in means that often you can't use the socket to its left or right.

    • That's pointless and rules it out imo.

  • Why don't we get these inflammatory comments every time a Samsung deal comes up?

    • +1

Because major brands are forced to follow process. In both cases, they were recalled. One popular brand here sells a known faulty product yet it is still available for sale after 6 months. There's a pretty big difference.

If those recalls hadn't been issued, you'd probably have fanboys talking about how the galaxy note 7 is fine because their one didn't explode.

    • +1

      Get what you pay for.
Up to the individual if they want to risk unknown brands and Chinese crap. There's a reason it's cheaper.

    • What do you mean? Every time a Samsung deal come up here, someone posts "never buy anything direct from Samsung because they will shaft you"

      • They're complaining about the lack of fire/explosion comments on Samsung deals despite recalls being issued for those particular products. Bad customer service is a seperate issue.

  • It stopped working since I received it from this post. Both charging ports. Does not charge a thing and it’s not a good product!

    • thanks for the feedback. i was very tempted to buy one.

      • No problem. Returning it for a refund.
