Wooden Mouse Traps 2pk 20c (75% off) at Bunnings Kirrawee

160

Was putting some clearance tickets up the other day and this one was the biggest percentage markdown.

I bought some myself to catch a mouse eating my chicken feed and it did the job effectively.

Other stores will be the same price but I don't know if they have stock

    "Wooden mouse traps"

Why would you want to trap a wooden mouse?

SNAP these up before they SNAP you

FYI - dont use cheese with these as alot of the time the cheeky little guys get the food and dont set off the trap…. a little peanut butter works a treat.

      Crunchy or Smooth?

…and it's $2.78 for 500g of Kraft peanut butter if you have fussy mice (ends today at Woolworths).

  • I wouldn't use the wooden/steel traps. They tend to pierce the skin and get blood everywhere. Just grab the plastic traps from Woolies for $1 each.

    • I tried them they are pretty useless…

      • We had an infestation at one point courtesy of the neighbours keeping guinea pigs / rabbits. Ended up catching about a dozen mice (add that to the hundreds caught as a kid on the farm).
The new plastic traps don't work very well for the pipsqueaks, but if you put the peanut butter right at the very back of the trap it helps. For the old-fashioned wooden ones nothing works better than an almond.

to catch a mouse eating my chicken feed

Are you sure that shouldn't be plural, Rep? I'm pretty sure that where there's one mouse, there's gonna be at least one more. Afterall, they breed like.. well.. like mice.

    EDIT: To illustrate my point…

But don't try stroking the mousetrap. :)

      • Speaking from experience i see. =)

        • Don't try to stroke a cat when its tail is swishing either. :P

  • We should refer some of the restaurant owners on this deal as well….

  • These are great if you put a choc drop in them as bait.
