            @stuffandthat: I use Makemkv. I only want the movie, not the extras. If you need the extra, it can rip those too but it’s cumbersome and you’re better off ripping it as an ISO

          Plex in the best. Lately I've been upscaling some movies that haven't had the 4K treatment. It's no HDR by any means, but on a 77" TV that little extra clarity makes a big difference to my eye.

      It looks to be the case from what i've heard, it's just Disney trying to push everyone to Disney+. Chance they might end up licensing out some of their catalogue to a local distributor but I doubt it, sadly

          He's talking specifically about DVD I think. No reason Blu Ray isn't the default physical format except for the fact many older people never upgraded and still buy DVD
