  • "For those who seek the exceptional power of 128GB RAM"

    It's 64GB?

Two sets of these modules to make it the cheapest 128GB DDR5.

    • And I spent ~$1k on 192GB :(

Just a heads up warning to those who think they can do 4 sticks DDR5 with xmp enabled:
4 sticks DDR5 with XMP enabled are still a challenge.
You can have 4 sticks DDR5, but just not with xmp enabled.
unless its specified by the ram company, otherwise you are likely to end up having 4 sticks running at 4000mhz or even 3800mhz.
You might get lucky to bump it up to 4800 with setting the xmp and voltages etc manually to stabilize it.
Google 4 sticks DDR5 XMP, and you will see this is still far from possible even for advanced builders.
its also recommended to check individual CPU supports list to see whats the stable mhz is supported with how many channels and whats not.
Better off to look for 1 set of 128gb, if you want large amount of ram with xmp enabled.

The below video will help people understand better about 4 sticks xmp, why its still hard to achieve.

  • Isn't 5200 a bit slow for ddr5? If I'm gonna go down the route of an expensive motherboard for ddr5, shouldn't I also go for ram that's decently faster than ddr4?
