Does it stack with Surprise Deal code or $10 Off Late Night under For you tab?

    • also wondering if it would track if the restaurant offers a deal eg. 10% off $30 spend

      • This one will defs work because it's not code based

    • Usually you can't use other promo codes that are not listed on Shopback. I haven't tried to stack it further.

    • If you use a code, it will track but get rejected.

Restaurant discount should be fine (auto applies, like 10% off).

        Its a bit misleading.

It has this listed on shopback.

Check your "For You" section on Menulog to find tasty offers & discounts, and mentions the 30% cashback.

        • Yeah I noticed that too, not sure why they would include that. Anything with a code will get rejected in a few months.

        • +1

That's a really good point. Has "30% cashback" under the "For You offer" which implies anything "For You" is eligible.

But historically hasn't seemed to be the case.

I've been stinged for codes so I doubt it. Wiped out my Westpac bonus and other bonus which was worth more than the code

      • Thanks for sharing, I won't use the code

  • Cashback is only eligible for delivery orders

  • Everytime i get a notification saying you got a code or deal, the app shows nothing, excellent click bating

  • +1

@gotyourback Rep, Pls confirm that For You section promotions code is valid or not with this offer?

    • +1

Hey mate, yeah the For You section is good to go unless it's an offer with a code attached. The ones that auto-apply are fine to stack.

      • +1

Yes, For you section has promotion codes has $5 or $10 code?

      • +2

There aren't really any For You offers that aren't code based.

      • This is why I suspect I was stinged so I don't think it's accurate (see my PM to you which I'm awaiting a response)

  • Guys how has your experience been with menulog lately? My last few orders over the past several weeks. Have all been accepted, confirmed ,paid for and then right at the point where it's actually meant to be delivered or arriving. The order gets cancelled. This has even happened when I have pre-ordered for the next day so tonnes of notice.

And the worst part is because it gets cancelled at the arrival time. It's too late for me to organise another meal etc as it'll arrive very late. Or in some cases restaurants start closing up for new orders. When I contact Menulog support.

They have been absolutely useless to the point of rude. They ignore what I actually ask or type and repeat that refund will be applied and then quit the chat pretending I haven't said anything else. Including some of them even saying since I havent heard from you… Although I had just typed like 4 messages after the person's last one.

Is Menulog going to go under? They have certainly changed from the past. I don't have this issue with doordash or ubereats

Also I went onto Menulog Facebook to see what's going on and I noticed alot of the people were saying the same thing as in the same experience of having orders cancelled for no reason last minute.

    • I haven't had any issues though I have heard stories similar to yours. Sadly I think it may be time and location dependent, Uber Eats is still the best especially with the promos that they run.

Does this work for pre-orders? i.e. for sunday

  • Assuming this includes orders “Delivered by Restaurant”

    • +1

As long it's not pick up order

  • When does the Westpac bonus cashback track? The 30% has already tracked.

    • +1

Normally in mins but few hrs is max

    • +1

My Westpac always takes a couple of hours for whatever reason. 30% tracked in a few minutes for me too.

EDIT: hah, just to make me a liar it tracked now…

  • Does it have to be delivered today or anytime of the week is ok

  • +1

    30% with cap of $15 & 15% with cap of $20 … more % less limit, less % more limit .. :(

    • +2

Realistically you just look at the cap of $15, since you'd be spending a lot to hit the cap of $20 for 15%

  • wow cashback tracked in 20min

  • Took a while to decide ended upn with subway aa they had 20% off and with 30% + 15% feels like a great deal
Delivery is tomorrow so hopefully it still counts

  • have noticed that SB tracking amount for this purchase is not actually 30% and 15% bonus. Not sure others also facing same issue.

    • Minus gst & delivery

  • Both cashback and westpac bonus tracked already. Worth it if it pays out :)

  • Is Westpac cashback only available through the app? I don't see any mention of it on desktop

    • +1

Nope you can do desktop too. I actually prefer desktop because last time I used the app it didn't track properly

    • it only advertised in app for whatever strange reason

  • Does this stack with free delivery code STAGGS?

    • from what i understand, manual coupons at checkout will invalidate..

  • +1

Can some explain how a $34 transaction with 30% cashback gets tracked as $7.56?

    • +1

Wow, it’s not paid on delivery fees. All these little T&C’s these cashback sites use to nickel and dime you are starting to get (profanity) annoying.

  • IT OKAY FOR PRE-ORDER ?

  • Ordered at 7.30 and has been delivered. No tracking from ShopBack or Westpac. Any else having the same issue?

  • these tracking issues are makin me hesitant

    • Use incognito browser on desktop for better outcome. I find the app can be a bit iffy.

      • incog and just log in to both sb and ml again ?

        • +1

Login to SB > Click on Menulog link from SB > Enter your address and add stuff to your cart > Checkout and it will ask you to login > Complete transaction

          • @foxes28: ok i bit the bullet last minit

            Delivering tomorrow at
            Sat 12:00 am
            Order confirmed

            Thumbs-up from the restaurant.

            • +1

@capslock janitor: oh shit i meant to select 12pm LOL uhhhhhhhhh

            • @capslock janitor: hope it tracks shortly

              • @foxes28: yeah im watching it.

on the bright side.. will be the weekend, midnight better than later graveyard 2am or 5am hahahah

              • @foxes28: what incognito browser do use ?

                  • @foxes28: what do u toggle for frontpage "Block third-party cookies
When on, sites can't use cookies that track you across the web. Features on some sites may break."

                    ?

update- i used firefox "private browsing" which i checked afterwards & appears to have my adblock on hidden in there.
usually i use regular firefox with adblock off, always tracked, thought i'd try something new/cleaner as suggested, the window sure was snappier than my infinite tabs

so not exactly liek chrome incognito.. lesson learnt

    • I wouldn’t bother mate. Now I’m gonna have to spend god knows how long sorting this out with support for a messily few dollars.

      • yeah fair. my previous "westpac bonus" type deal has yet to be paidout either ..

  • I used coupons every week and every single one of the transactions were rejected despite being listed on the SB site. Won't be using them ever again.

Keep the $5 in my available balance you can have it for free.

  • Normal cashback tracked but not the westpac bonus :/

    • i have neither tracked yet\

      • Both my cashbacks have been tracked. Took a few mins for normal cb to track and a couple of hours for Westpac offer.

        • This never happened to me before..
I'm still dry on both offers

          • @capslock janitor: Yeah, I dont really trust Shopback normally. I find Cashrewards and Topcashbacks to be more reliable. But well, needed to buy food anw so might as well try with the promo.

            • @sourbombs: no worries, gotta eat n mouths to feed.

i will admit user-error this time.
my firefox "private browsing" window had adblock toggled on my default
possibly why i missed out trackings

  • worst case i just get to cancel me pre..order tmrw

  • Mine tracked within half hr. It was pre order

  • absolut fail on my part on the delivery//timing & activation, thoughts n prayers

luckily ants didnt get to it before i did the next mornin

    • Did you at least get the deal? Of course that was the whole idea with the menulog and ozbargain.

      • Nope, neither tracked. 😪
But yeah that was the whole point I went out my way to try earn some cheaper takeout thho

        I even skipped the couponing

  • Not tracked here. First time I've had a shopback menulog fail to track.
