haha.. bit rich for a remote control piece of software.. $52 and now selling for a "mere" $2?

Plenty of remote apps for this price.

That may be the case, but it's a bit rich to neg something because there might be alternatives around.. The vote should be based on the saving not on the product. Some one may have been looking for this exact bit of software..

I don't see people negging foxtel deals when free to air does more or less the same job..

      • in that case, Hey Vladdo, I have some dog poo lying round the park outside my place i was going to sell it for $10,000 but you can have it for $100 its a savings on 99%! where else would you get that same bit of poo at that price?!

what really ticks me off is the separate app you have to purchase ($8!) if you want control from your iDevice.

Teamviewer is much better and it is 100% free on the computer and iPhone/iPad/iPod. As long as you aren't using it for business (then the licensing fees are quite high)

You can even log into other computer through their website if you don't have admin rights on the computer you are using and can't install the software.

I've been using it for over a year now, always reliable, always easy to use.

The only feature teamviewer is missing is sound, but this lags the whole process anyway.

Maybe Teamviewer is better than the iOS version of iTeleport, however the discount here is for the iTeleport OS X app.

      • Teamviewer also provides the same service from computer to computer too (for free). I couldn't find out of iteleport supports windows controlling windows, seems like you're only able to control OS X from multiple platforms.

$1.99 isn't bad, but an extra $8 to get ios involved…? I think free is still better ;)

  • It's only the most feature-rich VNC app. $2 is an absolute bargain.
TeamViewer is laggy and poor graphics.

  • Thanks very much **purchased*! I've used iTeleport formerly Jaduu VNC for iOS for a few years and its my favourite VNC app of all time. Tried plenty, and this was the only one I actually liked wholeheartedly.

The neg needs to go read the site guidelines.

  • Pretty sure LogMeIn is free for personal use for server, web-based client and iOS client.
