Crypto - that's still a thing these days?

      You'd think they'd call it

      Australian AI Crypto Convention

Obviously missed the memo about the AI pivot.

We're about 14 years into this crypto revolution and they still haven't solved a problem that wasnt already solved yet. At what point do you just call it sportsbetting instead? (profanity), for 200 bucks at least you can go watch the tennis or something. You know, things that actually happen.

    • It's ~8mths of kayo!

    • -1

      Youre not wrong.

Did social media solve anything in the first 15 years? I dont know?

Did the internet solve anything in the first 15 years? Kind of i guess?

      • +2

Social media made society worse, yes.
The Internet solved a ton of problems. Just not social media, that can go in the (profanity) bin but until humans acknowledge it's detriment, it'll be like human induced global warming whilst we're mid industrial revolution. Eventually we will work it out.

    How is this a deal?

  • +4

As I said last time (and nothing had changed)

Very difficult to navigate website. Shifty links. The overall site in terms of contact and information about the event is missing. I'm bombarded with an email subscription form every time I click on a new page.

    $200 to listen to 'influencers'.
I think my GP's gap payment was less than that last visit.

  • Waiting for the day someone can actually make an AAA Title game that can integrate with blockchain with a use case that actually makes sense and isn't just a scam…

    How dodgy are these guys?

Hidden 2%+ service fee added at checkout
Still no payment in crypto available, even though OP lists in deal description:

    Pay in AUD or crypto

OP also listed payment in crypto in the last deal but did a stealth edit to remove it

So after 3 months, this "deal" is a price jack and still no payment in crypto

    • What can crypto actually buy?

      • You can buy a pizza for about 15,000 BTC.

      • Heartache.

  • +1

I don't think the OP understands that very very few ppl would give up their precious weekend and go to this even if it were FREE 🤣

  • +2

    Crypto-con
    No deal

Is this the pump before the dump convention?

  • +1

Will they be selling cheap GPUs here?

  • +2

    Join 15,000+ attendees

I'd be very surprised to see anywhere near that amount

    Pay in AUD or crypto.

Don't you get enough money from your sponsors?
Asking $206.72 PP for very basic perks is funny af, basically pay to go to a convention where you likely have to sit through a bunch of twits talk about how their projects, coins, tokens (etc) are the 'Next big thing' which will either be rugged or will die off. There is legit no return (money or knowledge wise), you'd be better off investing that $206.72+ into an actual investment.

  • PAY to go to this? YFK?
