    Guide for newbies from a newbie.

    After you sign up via a referral link, make a trading account by hitting the middle icon at the bottom, it looks either like a microphone or webull symbol, and deposit $300 (easy enough, just need a driver licence/passport and do a selfie) (for the deposit webull doesn't have payID but does have NPP so if you have ubank deposit should be instant as ubank is auto osko for most transfers and doesn't hold your funds if you pay a new person)

    Once dep $300 you should get the rewards near instantly. Go to menu right bottom corner then my rewards in the middle left.

    Shares are straightforward, wait to receive and sell between US trading hours.

    If you get a voucher then you need to buy shares to claim the voucher. Convert enough of your initial $300 aus to us (via webull currency exchange found in transfers in the trading acc asset page) equal to amt of US trading vouchers. Buy a cheap high volume share, eg go market, hit us, scroll down until you see most active traded shares. I went with Mullen automotive as it's $0.1US and has a volume of 170mil. I did 3 trades, 2 trades worth of $20US and 1 trade of $40 US. I claim the respective vouchers ( you must spend at least the amt of the voucher to claim the voucher eg $40 voucher will only claim $10 if the trade was $10, so wait til the order completely fills and buy at least $20 or $40 US of the share).

    As soon as I claimed the voucher (go my rewards and hit claim, if you did it right it will show you the trades which you can claim). Once claimed, I sold all the shares I bought to prevent fluctuations and tax implications. I lost $6aud in fluctuations and exchange rate. However I should be getting about $100 US in 7 business days (trading voucher ETA).

    Have fun, now you don't have to fumble in the dark like I did. I prefer Moomoo, getting a share is way easier than vouchers, but free money is free money

      Forgot to add, when depositing make sure to add your unique reference number found in your deposit page otherwise funds may be lost. In the sign up process use a bank statement less than 6 months old and use the bank you will be withdrawing from as to withdraw webull requires to you to show a bank statement that has your full name, BSB and acc number, which you can use that bank statement you showed already

      Nice summary.

      Vouchers are good in that it permits me to buy/invest in whichever stock that I want. But there's a bit of a forex hit in both directions, which you don't get with a fractional stock allocation. Gamestop, AMC, Under Armour, Lucid are all pretty crappy stocks IMO which I have no interest in holding.

        Depends on the share, some shares can be traded in extended hours, fractional shares only during normal trading hours. You can claim the voucher at anytime after you make the trade

      Commission free voucher is something all accounts get. Have you deposited $300 yet? You’ll only get the other vouchers once you add $300 minimum.

    Also worth noting - I ended up with ~$8.80USD when I sold my TSLA share which is too small an amount to exchange to AUD.
    I had to send in some AUD, convert it to USD, then convert it all back to AUD and withdraw.

    I didn't get the 5+3 referral bonus some are getting but the person I referred got a targetted 200 AUD trading voucher that requires you deposit at least 500 AUD and do one >= 500 AUD trade. Will give it a go tomorrow

    I got a "up to $200 vouchers" if you deposit $10 or more and do not withdraw until after Sep 30 which is tempting but not as tempting as being able to immediately withdraw my $180USD of trading vouchers when they come in.

            @[Deactivated]: What I found really interesting is that Webull didn't enforce a settlement period for the funds resulting from my trades. They allowed me to withdraw immediately, after converting to AUD of course, got it in my bank account the next day.

                @[Deactivated]: FX = foreign exchange. Webull's FX rate is about 0.9% that you lose out on. Pretty standard for share trading platforms.

                And yeah I've always had T+2 with every share trading platform I've used, when it comes to funds being available for FX exchange or withdrawal anyway.

        I skimmed through the T&C and I think both must be completed by the deadline.

        The “fund within 30 days” part was more relevant earlier in the promo. From my understanding the promo runs until Friday and both steps (account creation and funding) need to be completed by then.
