  Probably better deal as you get led head and extra battery.

  I got this and i actually really like it. Vacuum can go anywhere and i charge the second battery separately. When the vacuum battery dies i swap out the batteries never needing to constantly dock it. And that it stands by itself is great.

  I came from a dyson v6 and i love the miele design choice.

    TBH it must be easy to like designs other than dyson v6 given its built-in battery and poor suction. (Disclaimer: I don't know how this one sucks).

      I actually didn't know dyson v15 had a swappable battery but also miele can stand upright on its own.
      It pretty much stays near us in lounge for when kids make a mess it 2 seconds aways to clean no need to undock and dock.
      Also the bin is close to the bottom so not heavy on wrist weight is on the floor.

      Plus for $499 triflex pro has second battery included.

    Agree, it is heavier and this applies when pushing it around also. Also, the weight distribution depends on how you set it up, i.e. put the motor on top vs bottom.

    Overall, great machine, i find the battery not so great after a year, but it can be swapped out

  Have installed new loop pile carpet and have been advised by both the installer and the manufacturer to not use most turbo brush vacuums as they fluff up the surface and produce a matt type effect on the carpet. This applies to robot vacs as well. Sebo produce a vac with an adjustable turbo brush head but are super expensive. Extremely annoyed

    just buy an extra head and remove the spinny brush from it? or use robo for smooth surfaces and manual for the carpet or vice versa.

      Annoyed that I can't seem to find a non-turbo head for my dyson stick.

      From the manufacturer's care instructions

      Loop pile or long pile carpets (including cut loop
      and berber): Vacuum with suction only. Vacuum
      powerheads, beater bars and rotating brushes
      should never be used as they may cause excessive
      fuzzing of the pile surface.

  I would wait for HX2 price to come down a bit as its far more superior than HX1.
